Start An Internet Business Selling Your Services Online: 3 Tips
Download Free Copy Of Start Your Own Online Business
When it comes to selling your services online, there are many things you can do to help insure success. Keep in mind, your actual game plan will be dependent on the type of service you are marketing. Selling software programming services is different than selling graphic design services.
The following tips will help you start an Internet business selling your services online. The more time you can devote to actually promoting your services, the better your chances of acquiring new clients.
Tip number one. Create a squidoo page or hub page to demonstrate the quality of your skills. Both are free and both have the ability to host graphic images if you're a designer rather than writer. If your skills are video use youtube to show off your skills. Programmers who offer scripts and such most likely will have to have their own website to demonstrate their products.
If you're a writer, for example, create a series of squidoo or hubpages that show off the different kinds of writing you can do, then link them all together.
Tip number two. Don't be afraid to make your online presence known. Visit blogs that are relevant to the service you are offering. Leave interesting comments on each, along with a link to your site. Potential clients can then contact you, for further information. the key here is leave comments that have relevant content not just spam promoting your services.
Not only are you providing information, by making these comments, you are also creating back links for your own blog. These back links are instrumental in helping achieve you higher search engine ranking.
Twitter seems to be an upcoming way to market services. The downside is that your twitter messages are limited to only 140 characters.
Tip number three. Offer some type of discount. Potential clients will appreciate this gesture and be more willing to utilize your services. It can be a onetime 'deep discount' or a smaller discount over a specified period of time. Offering a new customer discount works as well, just don't be surprised if your current clients want to take you up on the discount too.
Along the same lines, you can also offer a discount for referrals. This will help to build your client base, simply by taking advantage of word-of-mouth advertising which continues to be one of the most successful types of marketing today.
Word-of-mouth advertising has been around for decades. As the old saying goes, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'! Only these days when it happens on the Internet it's called viral marketing.

3 Tips: Internet Marketing For an Extra Income
3 Tips: Internet Marketing For an Extra Income
Download Free Copy Of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business!
Internet marketing for an extra income is a great way to generate the cash you need, sometimes fairly quickly. The time frame is dependent on what you choose to market and the method in which you decide to handle the tasks. If you need to get paid quickly for example, an affiliate product sale is probably not going to work for you. Most affiliate programs only pay out once a month and sometimes there's a delay for potential refunds.
The following tips can help you get started. There are a vast number of opportunities out there just waiting for you to pursue. It is recommended that you choose to promote a product or products that you have purchased or would purchase yourself. You will find that this will make your job of marketing much more enjoyable. If you believe in the product that enthusiasm carries over to your potential customers.
Tip number one. Research, research, RESEARCH! This is important, regardless of the type of marketing you will be doing. There is no point in wasting your time marketing a product or service that no one is interested in. Obviously, you'll never make any money that way.
It is much wiser to perform upfront research, within your scope of interest, than to begin promoting something that you know little about, or have not taken the time to investigate.
Investigate the product owner if they're not part of an affiliate program like clickbank.com or commission junction. There's no sense having sales that you won't get paid for because the product owner isn't ethical.
Tip number two. Once you have decided on the products and/or services you will be featuring, take advantage of social networks such as Twitter, MySpace and FaceBook. These communities provide a wonderful source of free advertising, of sorts.
These sites all allow you to actively promote your website or blog. As with any other kind of marketing the more people you interact with, the higher your chance of success. Just keep in mind that these are social networks not built in markets you can relentlessly hawk your products at.
Tip number three. Create a simple blog to market your products. Blog posts are recognized and indexed quite quickly by the search engines. Submit your blog to several blog directories and you'll soon see increased traffic.
There are free blog hosts such as blogger.com or you could buy a domain, get a host, and use wordpress.com as your blog software. If setting up a blog is something that you feel you cannot accomplish on your own, there are many individuals who will do this for a reasonable fee. You also have the option of learning to do this yourself, with the help of online tutorials.

Internet Marketing for Online Success
Internet Marketing for Online Success
Download Free Copy Of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business!
Internet marketing is crucial for the success of your business because with the millions of websites that are in cyberspace there is ferocious competition amongst companies fighting to be number one. In order to reach their prospective and existing customer base, thereby consolidating their positions, online businesses have only effective marketing technique available to them. As the term itself suggests, internet marketing refers to all marketing efforts that an online business resorts to in order to draw customers to their website, within the domain of the internet. In certain aspects, it is similar to conventional marketing methods and in some other respects, it is vastly different.
Like the advertisements of products and services posted in newspapers and visual media, the internet marketing concept also accommodates traditional advertising methods, however utilizing, banners and buttons within websites instead. Similarities aside, however website ad placement offers online businesses some other advantages that print or visual media does not. Some of which actually ends up being free for the advertiser.
In online marketing, there is what is called pay-per-click marketing, wherein the advertiser need not have to pay any money to a website for putting up the ads, but rather only when someone actually clicks on the ad to the business's portal, sending them to the advertisers homepage. Another marketing technique, affiliate marketing, is another situation where businesses need not pay any money to display their ads up front with affiliate websites, but rather when someone clicks through the ads to the advertiser's website. However, with affiliate marketing one has to build an affiliate network in the first place, which is a bit of a tough task.
There is this also search engine optimization or SEO, wherein a website will be programmatically engineered (reverse engineered) to make it search engine friendly so that the next time someone searches the web using a keyword associated with the respective online business its website features amongst the top of the search engine results page. The advantage with this method is that the online business need not have to pay even a penny for the visibility it enjoys in search engine results. However, the process of search engine optimization could cost businesses some money, and how much that is depends upon the extent of the SEO work required, and the niche or domain that the particular website represents. The money factor aside, SEO is one of the most important internet marketing tools that any online business can not afford to overlook.
Other useful internet marketing for online business success methods include blogging, participation in discussion forums, article posting in directories, press releases, promoting businesses in social networking portals, and joint ventures. Promoting product/services by uploading a small promotion video with free video sites such as YouTube is also a good internet marketing technique. To play ads in visual media can be quite costly. But, the same ad campaign, if ran through a free portal such as YouTube, will not cost your business a dime. True, it might not be viewed by everyone, but still one could tactically draw people to view the ad film by providing a link within the pages of their website, or within a blog entry.
Internet marketing can work wonders for online businesses, provided it is executed in a systematic and positive manner. Of the lot, PPC brings instantaneous results, while SEO, even though effective, will take some time before the webpage appears on the first few SERPs. Affiliate marketing relies heavily upon how the affiliates perform in the long run.

Tips for Choosing The Right Tools in Internet Marketing
Tips for Choosing The Right Tools in Internet Marketing
Copyright © 2008 Dock J Murphy
Download Free Copy Of An Obvious Truth By Armand Morin
Online advertising with an effective headline can achieve effective results. Online research is a wide-open space, and we are all learning that online customers are wonderfully complex. It makes the workday both challenging and stimulating for all divisions of our company.
Links to a Web site are one of the major sources of traffic, so it is important to develop reciprocal linking relationships with other sites. The software program you can get will automates this process: it is designed to get you more links in less time and allow you to easily manage and maintain those links.
Generating a unique domain name will not be too complicated, since most generic names are already being used by other companies. Generally, expense fees should not be much higher than 1% if it is just a basic domestic equity fund. You should never invest money in a fund that also charges a "load," which is an additional fee that is ridiculous to pay. Generally, this is designed for personal use only, and unless you are publishing a simple brochure website and expect a very low traffic volume, the space is not really sufficient for a business website. However, many ISP's now offer business web hosting which often bundles your Internet service with a business website hosting service.
Start developing friendships with other marketers. Participate in discussions in forums and start building that trust. Start your traffic flowing and begin recruiting to have an income. If money is the issue, invest more time with email campaigns that are designed well and SPAM free.
Keywords have a large role in how your website gets ranked on search engines. For that reason, you need to be sure you are targeting the words that people are searching for so you can attract the right visitors. Keyword generators, which are widely offered at the market today, will provide you with a real help when performing keyword research for a website. It should be noted some internet marketing seo programs include keyword suggestion tools, which analyze website content thoroughly and provide the most suitable key phrases for optimizing a website.
Search Engine Optimization is essential for any online business to prosper. A lot of companies realize the importance of SEO and thus the need for it is increasing every single day. Search engines may even ban your Web site if you use certain tricks to manipulate your rankings. Search engine optimization is the primary tool of internet marketing whereby the website is designed in such a way that it finds top ranking by the search engines and thereby bringing visibility and generating traffic. The concept of search engine optimization could be fully utilized by a simple method called key word research.
Competition is all around you and waiting for you to slip up. So be sure to protect yourself when it comes to your domains. Competitive ad filter, 8. Target your content for high-paying keywords, 9.
Blogs by nature requires constant updating and interaction with readers. While the Content Niche sites we want to create requires zero to no maintenance. Blog Comment Poster will increase your traffic, backlinks and earnings dramatically! Yes, it is cool! Blogs are supposed to be a personal viewpoint expressed to the whole Web community. Would not you actually like to meet more people like yourself?
Define your goals - Define what you want to accomplish with your internet business. How much income must the business generate before it is a success? Define how much money you can afford to invest in start up costs. Define how many employees (if any), you are willing to take on and manage, and define your exit strategy.
Affiliate programs give you the opportunity to build a generous residual income. Affiliate Marketing has already created lots of millionaires, they are the living testimony of how hard work; continuous prospecting, motivating and training others can pay off - Big Time! Affiliate marketing was totally new for them. The idea of generating their own leads was new. Affiliate Programs are generally single tier or two tier. A single tier program pays you for whatever business you have generated.

4 Stealthy Sources Of Powerful Internet Marketing Intelligence
4 Stealthy Sources Of Powerful Internet Marketing Intelligence
Get Free Copy of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business!
In online marketing it is critical that you keep up with what is going on in your industry. You do need to know who is doing what - and why they are doing it. You do need to take the time to research potential joint venture partners, products, and competing businesses.
Here are four excellent tools and how to use them.
1) Internet Archive - Also known as "The Way Back Machine" at http://Archive.org
There are actually many facets to this amazing site but the feature that I use most is the ability to look at a historical snapshot of a website/domain.
There is a box on the site where you can enter any url, and it will show you "snapshots" taken of that website over time.
For example, if your were to enter my domain "williecrawford.com" you'd see be able to sift through actual archived pages from my website between December 1998 and today. Every week or two a new snapshot of the site was taken and stored in the Archive.org database.
That lets you confirm how long a website has been online (provided it was archived), lets you see how a business evolved over time, and will even reveal to you things a marketer may have been testing that perhaps didn't work out.
I use this tool to confirm how long a site/person has been in business. I also use it to confirm how long a person has actually been in a particular niche or discipline. I use it in deciding who to actually form business relationships with.
If you discover practices contrary to your own standards, or that a potential business partner hasn't been totally honest with you, then you certainly want to proceed with caution... or look deeper.
2) Google Alerts - At http://www.google.com/alerts/
You can set an alert to have Google notify you via email any time that it finds a new occurrence of a term online (on a webpage, blog, etc.)
I set alerts for my name, my product names, my urls, and competitors' names/products/urls.
Any time the system finds someone "talking about" the target term, it will send you an email (at whatever frequency you specify) notifying you of the new finds.
Once a day, I get emails notifying me of where my target terms has just been discovered. This points you to places where you are being blogged about, mentioned in articles, discussed on forums, etc.
It could alert you to positive or negative publicity that you want to be aware of.
3) Tweet Beeps - Similar To Google Alerts, Only On Twitter.com
Found at http://tweetbeep.com/ I use Tweet Beeps the same way that I use Google Alerts. Any time that my target phrases are found in ANY Twitter posts, I get a notification.
That will point out to you discussions that you may want to join for various reasons, to include "damage control," thanking them for a nice compliment, to answer questions about your product, etc.
One creative way to use Tweet Beeps would be to ask those "tweeting" positive things about your product for testimonials, or to become your affiliates.
4) International Association Of Joint Venture Brokers
Found at http://IAJVB.ORG, The International Association of Joint Venture Brokers is a collection of joint venture brokers, super affiliates, product owners, publishers, and webmasters who use the site to keep track of product launches.
The site is a database of upcoming and ongoing product launches, live events, tele-events, and even free giveaways.
Members of the site enter their events into the database as an easy way to recruit new affiliates AND to let other members know that they are "claiming" a given launch date.
Savvy affiliates search through the database looking for product launches in their niche. They understand that when you know about an upcoming launch a month or more in advance, you can do things to gain a tremendous advantage in the search engines before most other affiliates EVER hear rumors of the launch.
During many product launches, your potential customers often go to the search engines to see what reviewers have to say about a given product.
Affiliates who knew about, and obtained a review copy of a product a month in advance, will have their reviews listed at the top of the search engines, getting sales from people who are not even on their lists... or have ever previously visited their websites.
Members pull up the listings of other launches planned in their niche and use that information to plan when they will do their own launch. This keeps them from going "head-to-head" with big launches that would otherwise drown out their own.
This also shows them launches that they could perhaps piggyback on.
They can often get mention of their product INCLUDED in an upcoming product, or they can plan on releasing their product just as the commotion from a big launch is dying down.
Perhaps your product does the same thing as product with a huge launch planned, but your product is cheaper. You could time your launch to catch potential customers who have a heightened awareness of the problem that your product solves, but who couldn't afford the other product. You can sell to a lot of customers who actually feel POWERFUL resentful towards the product that they wanted but couldn't afford.
As you can see good intelligence is extremely valuable. You absolutely must know what is going on in your niche. Fortunately, with the above four tools, it's very easy.

Newbies Hints and Tips: The Correct Mindset for Your Internet Marketing Success
Newbies Hints and Tips: The Correct Mindset for Your Internet Marketing Success
Download Free Copy Of Internet Business For Newbies
Today I want to talk about having the correct mindset. This is really so VERY important in helping you achieve success.
Believe in yourself and in your abilities. Be good to yourself. You deserve it.
It's so essential not to cripple yourself with low self-esteem. Do you know most people go through their whole lives living under a self-esteem 'ceiling' of three feet high!! They imagine they cannot do this, or cannot do that, because in some dim and distant past, in their childhood perhaps, someone somewhere has told them so.
Yet why should you sit back and believe you cannot do such and such? It's just not true! Of course we're not talking here of climbing Everest tomorrow - or swimming the English Channel next week - but everyday things that you might have preconceived ideas about not being able to do.
Here are some quotes for you to think about:
"Your own worst enemy is your inner self"
"No-one else has the power to kill your vision"
"When you know where you are going, other people will allow you to pass"
If you BELIEVE you can do something, then you WILL be able to do it. So throw out all your preconceived ideas, and let's start again...
First of all, write down your goals - yes, you must really write them down on a piece of paper, and pin this piece of paper somewhere you can easily see it. Read your goals aloud twice a day. Make your first goals simple ones, something like: "By this time next month (here you would write down the actual date) I will have my website up and running". Another goal could be: "by (insert a date two weeks ahead) I will have written my first report" - or whatever you think you'd like to do at this time.
Write down about 5 or 6 goals, and then each time you achieve one of them, cross it off your list, and write in another goal. Now you have a set of simple goals written down, and you start working towards achieving them. Yes, you really CAN do it!
Do you know that only about 3% of the population ever put their goals in writing? Yes, it's true enough. Just 3% write down their goals.
Back in the '50s a study was carried out at Harvard University into this, and then followed up some 30 years later. Guess what - the 3% of the group who had written down their goals were then worth more than the remaining 97% put together.
There's a well-known saying: "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". Think about it.
We all have to start somewhere, and by having a positive attitude goes a good deal of the way towards breaking away from that endless treadmill.
The recipe for success has to be: getting motivated, and staying motivated. We all have to start somewhere, and for sure everyone needs a helping hand now and then, especially when you're a newbie. Otherwise how will you know what to do next?
To start with you will need to write your Route Map. No, don't say: "oh that's silly, I know what I'm going to do" - but do you really? Give yourself a timetable to work with, and then stick to it.
Read as much as you can, and find a good website written especially for the beginner - for all newbies. There you will pick up valuable information and learn which tools you will need, which books to read, what to buy, and perhaps most importantly what NOT to buy. Don't waste your hard earned cash on numerous books and articles - when you can get what you need mostly for free. If course you will need to spend some money - but be selective.
At all times, remember: Positive Thought is a powerful thing.

Internet Marketing Guide To Generate Targeted Traffic
Internet Marketing Guide To Generate Targeted Traffic
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Driving targeted traffic to a website is where a lot of people seem to have difficulty. Generating traffic does take daily consistent effort but it is not difficult, you just need to have time, perseverance and patience. Whilst there are several reliable methods this guide looks at 5 free internet marketing methods that you can use to drive traffic to your website.
When you start off marketing your website your goal is to build back-links to your website. The more back-links pointing to your site will mean higher search engine rankings which will result in free organic traffic. Your ultimate goal of course is for your site to appear high up on the first page of Google. At the top of the list of free traffic generating methods is article marketing.
1. Article Marketing
Writing articles and publishing them on the Internet is known as Article Marketing. Don't panic - you do not have to be an author! You can add unique content to your website or blog using your articles as well as submit them for publishing on article directories. In order to gain back-links, at the end of your article you will include a resource or author's bio box where you can say a few words about yourself and post your website address as a link.
One of the best ways to get targeted traffic to your website is by submitting articles to article directories. By writing about topics related to the products or services that you are marketing on your website people who are interested in finding out more will be able to visit your website via the link in the resource box of your article.
As the majority of article directories are free to submit to, you can write and publish your articles without spending any money at all. Here are a few of the best article directories on the internet that you can submit your articles to: Buzzle, Ezine Articles, ArticlesBase, Article City, Idea Marketers, GoArticles, Article Alley.
2. Set Up Your Own Blog
A free, easy and very effective marketing strategy is starting your own blog. Blogger provides you with the opportunity to set up a free blog in 3 easy steps. Once you have set up your blog be sure to link it to your website. Google owns Blogger so you can be sure that the Google bot will regularly crawl the postings on your blog if you post regularly. Try and post every day if possible and vary the length of your blog posts. It is a good idea that once you add an article to your website or an article directory to write a little about it on your blog and link your post to it.
3. Participate In Online Forums
It is highly recommended that you join a few online forums that are related to your business. Then get involved on a daily basis in the discussions with helpful contributions. Most forums allow you to put links in your signature line and so you will be able to promote your website. A carefully worded signature that is not too loud or large can generate targeted traffic to your website.
4. Promote With Traffic Exchanges
Go ahead and sign up for a free account with a few traffic exchange websites. Traffic exchanges allow you to submit a link to your website and will be able to earn credits by browsing other members' sites on the exchange. You can surf freely for credits or you can buy them and this is a quick and popular method of generating traffic to your site. The more credits you earn, the more often your website will be viewed by other members on the traffic exchange. It is advisable to use a splash page on a traffic exchange rather than your website.
5. Linking
The Internet is actually made up of a huge network of links. In order to get some of the action you will need to get as many good quality links pointing back to your site as possible. You can contact website owners whose websites are related to your category and ask for a mutual link from their site to yours, or find out how much they would charge for a small classified ad on their website. Submit your website to the online directories too to gain further back-links.
You will learn how to drive traffic to your website with other, more complex methods too, as your skills develop but for now the above internet marketing methods are proven ways of generating targeted traffic and building up your Internet business.

Some of these instant wealth products cost under $20. However many cost over $100 and some are even over $1000. Now some of these products and schemes could be excellent value and you might learn a lot from them however until you know what you are doing it's high risk stuff.
So, you want to start an internet home business and you have been told to hide your wallet. What is the next step in finding an internet business opportunity?
Answer. Do your homework. Take the same steps you would take when investigating a conventional business. And the best way to do this is to 'Google' it - or Yahoo and Windows Live. Do a search for "internet marketing +forum" exactly like that. This search will bring up some of the top forums where you can learn how to create an income online without spending a fortune.
If you spend a lot of time reading old posts in internet marketing forums and reading all of the current posts you can learn as much as a $500 course might teach you. The best part is that it is a free education. It will be a little time consuming but remember this is a business and proper research is essential.
Eventually you will become familiar with the direction you think you might like to go. Having sorted out an internet home business that appeals to you, start asking questions in the forums. Do not be shy or think your question is too dumb to ask. The only dumb questions are the ones you never ask. Participate in the forums you like the most.
As you join in you will find that not only do you learn by asking, but sometimes you have answers for questions others are asking. Your questions and contributions make you known to the internet marketing community.
After hiding your credit cards, using forums is the next best of the internet marketing tools.
You will find that many knowledgeable people are willing to help a new person (newbie) learn the ropes. Not only will some experts answer your questions, but at times some will volunteer to help you even more through private emails.
And you can still keep your wallet hidden. They do not want your cash; they only want to help you succeed. Maybe one day you will buy one of their products or join their internet business opportunity, but today they are more interested in giving you a helping hand.
There is an amazing community out there who is giving away more information than you will ever need to succeed. Listen and learn and you may well be on your way to your first successful internet business.
Once you have sorted out your internet home business direction and you have learned some of details of internet marketing, then it is time to start using some of the other internet marketing tools. You could start by buying e-books and other educational information. The secret is to spend carefully and then, "put you wallet away" again. You can become overwhelmed with too much information. You can end up with hundreds of dollars worth of courses that you never use.
Hopefully this has been a different twist for you on the subject of internet marketing tools. It is excellent advice and should save you a lot of money in the end.

Five Ways to Find Excellent and Cheap Internet Marketing Services
Five Ways to Find Excellent and Cheap Internet Marketing Services
Get Free Copy of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business!
When you are looking for Internet marketing services, you might be wondering how much you are going to pay for them. After you have talked to a couple of companies, you have probably realized that it is gong to cost you a lot more than you have budgeted. Don't worry, you can still find cheap Internet marketing services that are going to get your website into tip-top shape, get customers coming to it and build your business. Here are five ways to find these services for as little money as possible.
1. Shop around. If you are looking for any type of new service, you probably shop around. Doing the same thing for Internet marketing services is going to be a good idea. By shopping around, you are not going to have to rely on one company's pricing plan and you are going to see a lot of different options.
2. Educate yourself. Before you even get quotes, you are probably going to want to educate yourself on what exactly your goals are for your marketing services. If you want to increase traffic on your website, for example, you are probably going to want to ask what the company is going to do to increase the number of visitors to your website. By making a list of what you want to achieve with your company and what the goals of this marketing campaign are, you are going to be in better shape to go shopping for services.
3. Bargain. You may think that you don't have any bargaining room, but there are tons of Internet marketing firms out there, and if you don't bargain, you are going to end up paying full price. Once you get the information on what they will provide you, see if you can get a discount on it. The vast majority of companies are going to throw something extra in or give you a reduced price. If they aren't willing to discuss the price, you may want to consider going with somebody else.
4. Show them their competitors' offers. When you are getting information and you find a company that you trust and get along with, you are probably going to want to show them the other quotes from other companies that are cheaper. This is going to show them that you've been doing your homework and that you are not going to get a blindsided or ripped off. Also, by showing them that their competitors' prices are cheaper, you are going to be asking them to match the price. If you get a better company to match the price, you are going to have more success with your Internet marketing campaign.
5. Sleep on any decision. If you are unsure on what company to go with, what services you actually need and what a fair price is, you should make sure that you wait it out and don't sign any contracts right away. Any Internet marketing services company is going to give you some time to think about it. If you are unsure about anything, just wait.
Finding cheap Internet marketing service can be difficult. What is especially difficult is that you are going to have a lot of people offering you a lot of different things, and it can get confusing very quickly. By shopping around and by understanding what exactly you want and need, you are going to be able to get the best service for the least amount of money possible.

Don't Worry About Duplicate Content If You Have An Authority Content Web Site
Don't Worry About Duplicate Content If You Have An Authority Content Web Site
Download Free Copy Of Article Marketing
The duplicate content issue has gone back and forth on the Internet for the last several years now. There are camps that have been saying that your web site will be penalized if you have duplicate content, to the camps that are saying your web site won't gain any benefit if it has duplicate content on it, to those that say that you shouldn't worry about it at all. With all of these opinions flying around over the Internet, which camp should you pitch your tent in?
The basic answer is there really is no duplicate content penalty outside of your own web site. There are undesirable side effects in the search engines if your website has duplicate pages, however this article focuses on duplicate content between 2 different websites. Your web site may not benefit much if you have duplicate content (duplicate content means that your entire web page content is basically the same as another web page). However there are ways to use content on your website that is used on other web sites and not have it look like duplicate content to the search engines, but that is another article. If you don't want to worry about duplicate content in any way shape or form, then having an authority content web site is the way to go.
Authority sites are sites that the search engines see as being an authority in any subject or niche. A good example of an authority site is answer.com. The search engines see this web site as being an authority in a number of different niche areas, and as a result many pages on the answer.com site rank highly in all types of search results. Even if it has the same content that is found on other web sites.
What is the result of this exercise? If you have an authority site, the search engines will rank your site higher than other sites with the exact same content, even if your site has posted the content after other web sites. This is insightful information because now there is finally definitive proof to create quality content websites.
So what are some of the characteristics of an authority content web site? The first is that it is a high quality web site that has key word related content in a specific niche. Content is also routinely updated and added to the site. Many blogs end up being authority sites, because they are constantly updated and usually tightly focused to a specific niche. Authority sites may also have a list of resources, keep a list of events, or have reviews and links to other sites (an example of this type of authority site is teleseminarlive.com). A good way to think of an authority web site is to ask yourself if you would use this site as a resource in any way, or would recommend it to someone else. If your answer is yes, then you can bet that the website is on it's way towards being considered as an authority site by the search engines if it isn't considered one already.
Authority content websites are the way to go if you don't want to worry about duplicate content. They are simple to create but take some time to build up to become an authority site. They are not something that you can build overnight with automated software. So if you are looking for a quick fix, authority sites are not for you. If you are interested in building a long term asset that will be loved by the search engines, then you should join one of the membership web sites that properly teach you how to create authority web sites.

MySpace -- 5 Reasons It's Not Just for Teenagers Anymore
MySpace -- 5 Reasons It's Not Just for Teenagers Anymore
Download Free Copy Of Web 2.0-The Latest Internet Wave
It was not so long ago when I was watching my nephews eagerly upload their MySpace pictures and create their profiles. All the rave with teenagers and music bands, MySpace has become so much more!
It is now the mecca of small business owners and networkers the world over!
MySpace, like Ryze.com and others, allows you to create a profile, share some pictures and add a bit about your interests. You can even post to your own blog and upload music for "your sound" when people click on your home page.
Now I know some of you are already shaking your head "no" because you've heard some of the negative publicity surrounding MySpace, or you think it's just for fun.
I would counter with the simple, yet sad, truth that you can meet unsavory characters anywhere and, with a few precautions, the benefits far outweigh the risks!
Here's just a few of the ways you can use MySpace for your business:
1. Networking.
Once you set up a home page and profile (it took me THREE minutes!), you can start meeting "friends" and inviting them to join your network. You will soon notice that others will also invite you to join their networks as well.
MySpace will put a notice on your private page letting you know that someone wants to be your friend -- YOU then have the power to accept or deny them based on their profile. The more friends you have, the larger your network. You can also choose to keep your network small and focused only on those people who fit in your target audience.
2. Share a little more.
While you want to remain professional and not share things you wouldn't share in a face-to-face networking environment, your MySpace page gives you the ability to share a little more about yourself than you would on your standard website home page.
I, for example, put up some photos of our "children" (dogs and cats) as well as pictures from recent trips -- not things you will see on my usual site.
3. Cross-pollination for increased traffic.
You can increase your website traffic by referring readers of your MySpace to your website and vice versa. You can also post your standard blog posts onto your MySpace blog -- it takes about 30 seconds and will further help to drive traffic.
4. Sell your stuff.
Do you have an e-book, regular book or other item to sell? If so, you can include them on your MySpace home page and capture some sales that you otherwise may have missed. 5. Send an announcement.
MySpace lets you send announcements to your friends -- the announcements appear in their private inboxes.
Are you offering a new teleclass? Selling a new product? Hosting a workshop? Send an announcement and let your friends know!
It's quick and painless to set up an account. You don't need anything fancy and can add to it anytime you wish. This is a great task for your virtual assistant! Don't have one? Don't despair -- any kid on the block will be happy to do it for you! :-)
While you may not have a thousand friends or make a million dollars overnight, MySpace is yet another great (and free!) way you can market yourself AND your business.
Are you ready to take the next step in no cost marketing?

What is Internet Marketing?
What is Internet Marketing?
Get Free Copy of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business!
Internet marketing is still a complete mystery to a large majority of Internet users. For many users, internet marketing is seen as some foreign area of the web, populated with silly get-rich-quick schemes and unsavory characters ready to rip off the innocent and uninformed consumer at the click of a mouse.
In reality, Internet marketing is populated mainly with hard working professionals promoting and selling high quality brand products by many of the world's Top 500 companies.
Worldwide there are now over a billion Internet users, representing one large global consumer base or marketplace. The total amount of goods sold online has been steadily increasing each year as the Internet gains in both popularity and familiarity. Studies have shown people shop online because of lower prices, a wider selection of products, easier comparison shopping, and many just prefer not having to travel to stores to make a purchase.
Still Internet marketing has gotten a raw deal.
If you mention to any group of professionals that you're an Internet Marketer and that you work full time on the Internet... you will receive some very skeptical looks and more than one arched eyebrow of disbelief.
Regardless of this lingering skepticism, Internet marketing has become a viable alternative for many disgruntled professionals dissatisfied with their working hours or conditions. It has become a viable alternative for many people from all walks of life. From the college student to the bored housewife to the retired doctor... all are enjoying a part time or full time income from the comfort of their homes.
And since the Internet is now practically available to everyone, anywhere in the world - Internet marketing is a level playing field. There are many forms of Internet marketing. There are many online business models you can follow. There are countless ways to earn a good honest income from the Internet. Which path you take will be largely determined by research, work habits, and the time you are willing to put forth.
Here's a quick rundown of the most popular forms of Internet Marketing:
1. The Brick and Mortar Store Online. Most major companies and retail stores have created online versions of their brick and mortar businesses. Even if consumers don't buy online, many use these sites for gathering product information before buying in the real world. A factor many savvy businesses are exploiting in their overall marketing strategies.
2. Online Services. Many service industries have moved online, everything from travel to banking to dating! Again, the Internet can be a profitable extension for any service company.
3.Internet Gurus... Internet marketing has a whole history of pioneers who have forged the methods and techniques of marketing online - opt-in lists, mini-sites, article marketing, pay-per-click advertising, joint ventures... a brief history populated with such names as John Reese, Marlon Sanders, Ralph Wilson, Yanik Silver, Corey Rudl, Ken Evoy and countless others.
A whole new industry has grown around 'How-to' market online, info products, workshops and web seminars - teaching people how to market on the Internet. A marketer creating his own product can prove very productive - as seen by John Reese's 2004 launch of Traffic Secrets, which earned over a million dollars in one day. (Without a penny of paid advertising!)
4. Online Advertising and Pay-Per-Click advertising such as those offered by Google Adwords and others, presents another viable marketing route. Keywords (the exact words typed into a search engine) fuel a large portion of the web's activity. Keyword marketing has become a major driving force behind most of the economic transactions on the web. This is a very lucrative sector for those Internet marketers who know exactly what they're doing.
Then there is the whole section of SEO experts and consultants who command high prices for positioning companies or products in the top positions on the major search engines. Acquiring organic Top 10 search results will greatly determine the profitability of your online product or company.
5. Affiliate Marketing. One of the least understood, yet one of the most profitable forms of Internet marketing is affiliate marketing. An online marketer can join any affiliate program and promote its products or services on the Internet. You market the products, find customers for the company and receive a commission for each sale you make from your marketing efforts. These commissions can run anywhere from 2% to over 75%. One affiliate click can earn you anywhere from a few cents to several hundred dollars.
Major third party affiliate programs or companies such as Commission Junction, Clickbank, LinkShare, Amazon, Shareasale... acts as a brokerage or go-between representing thousands of Top Brand companies such as Sony, Apple, Dell... to online affiliate marketers. Marketers can join a program such as Commission Junction or LinkShare and be able to promote and market hundred of top quality products or services online. They can consolidate their affiliate marketing through these third party programs.
Perhaps the most common business model for the majority of online marketers is the last example, or a combination of advertising and affiliate sales. Many work-from-home professionals have adopted this business model. They have created a site or sites on the topic that interests them and of which they have or have gained some expert knowledge.
Once these sites become established and gathering a large amount of targeted web traffic each day, making a nice income can only be a matter of putting the Google Adsense code on their pages and placing a few appropriate affiliate links on their sites.
The more traffic these marketers deliver to their sites, the more income they earn. The more unique content they create, the more income they earn. The more web sites they design, the more income they earn.
What many people outside of the web marketing field fail to realize, the Internet is a 24/7/365 business. The Internet is always on and working for you. It is automatically producing income for you 24 hours of the day, while you're sleeping, while you're enjoying a nice meal with friends, or even while you're on vacation.
Internet marketing can provide you with a lifestyle that is totally liberating - you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can be your own boss, set your own hours and work from the comfort of your own home. Plus your whole online Internet business can be automated so it basically runs itself.
Internet marketing is totally flexible. You can adjust your workload to suit your own work habits. Internet marketing is scalable, once you have learned how to make your first dollar; it is only a simple matter of repeating and scaling up what you did to earn that dollar. Computers and the Internet make it just as easy to handle a thousand sales as it is to handle one sale.
As Internet marketing becomes better known, it will gradually earn more and more respect. It will become a well recognized profession that many will aspire to and follow as a life long career. Mainly because Internet marketing will give you the freedom rarely seen in any other profession.
It offers you mobility, a high standard of living, and a working environment that can't be beat. It gives you the freedom to follow your own interests and hobbies; all the while turning those interests into viable revenue streams that supports the lifestyle of your own choosing.
When it is all said and done , earning a living just doesn't get any better than this.

How To Make Your Website Successful With Free Internet Marketing
How To Make Your Website Successful With Free Internet Marketing
Download Free Copy Of An Obvious Truth By Armand Morin
Marketing knowledge is a great skill to have and essential if you want your internet business to generate a good income. When you are competing with a lot of other websites you want to make sure that yours is one that gets its fair share of visitors. There are many parts to creating a successful website for your business idea. First of all, you need to have a website that is appealing to its visitors, both visually and text wise. Make sure you use a language that is catchy and that makes people interested and have a layout of the site that is attractive to the people you imagine will be interested in your product.
When your website design is all set, you want to make sure that it is also SEO friendly. This means that it is optimized in a way that will give your site high rankings in the search engines and more people will be coming to your site. There are plenty of SEO companies on the web and it is well worth it to spend a bit of extra money on this part since this determines whether people are going to find your website or not.
The next step when the website is launched, is to do quite a bit of free internet marketing. Even if you choose to pay to advertise on other related websites or to do pay per click ads with Google, you have a lot to gain on the free part of it too. The free internet marketing is an ongoing process and something you want to keep on doing. Set aside one hour a day or at least a few hours a week and spend this time on the different free marketing tools there are and you will see that the results can come quickly.
Some of the things you can do to promote your internet business for free are:
*Make a press release
*Write and submit articles to article directories
*Make videos and submit them to popular video sites such as YouTube
*Create Hub Pages and do Social Bookmarking
*Let affiliates do the marketing for you
*Get one way and reciprocal links from related websites and directories
*Create a blog that is linked to your main site and sales letter
Spend a bit of time on each of the different marketing tools every week and you will be able to see the difference in traffic. When you have a website that is appealing to the eye of its visitors and you do the marketing properly you will not only get a lot of traffic to your site - the visitors that come will also be willing to come back to your site. This in combination with a sales letter that is written in an efficient way ensures that the people that come won't be able to resist the offers you are providing. If you have all the parts of a successful website down, there are no limits to what you can generate with your business idea.

Three Top Tips For Processing Credit Cards Online
Three Top Tips For Processing Credit Cards Online
Download Free Copy Of Six Steps To Six Figures
Signing up with a third party credit card processor is simple. All you need to do is select the right third party processor. The processing company will take care of all the tranactions made at your site and will frequently also manage any instances of credit card fraud. It's important to recognize that not all these credit card processing companies are the same and you should do your homework carefully before you opt for a particular one.
Here are some tips to assist you.
Tip 1: Consider your needs and those of your clients.
Think about your particular needs and those of your market. Does your business have a high level of international customers? If so, be sure a payment processor that will be willing to manage different countries without restrictions. Will you be taking advertising on your website? Some companies like 2Checkout have a large a long list of products you're not permitted to sell through their systems, and a second list of "risky" products that require prior approval.
Are you just setting up your business or are you established? Look into start up costs and calculate your operating costs accordingly. You may want to go with a free company like Paypal or a different Internet-based credit card processor.
Tip 2: Always have a backup processor.
If you choose Paypal you should have a back up service provider: paypal is famous for determining that you are in receipt of a lot of transactions and just freezing your account. If you have a product which could be a smash hit be wary and have a 2nd payment processor ready. This will also add to your integrity in your customer's opinion and you'll increase your sales.
Tip 3: Pay attention to fee details.
Be sure there aren't any hidden fees. Some creditcard processing companies will make the whole thing look attractive up front, however when you look closer you will see that you have to pay unexpected each month. Worse still you may even have to pay extra fees when you earn less than a certain amount. If you are a brand new business you do not want to get ensnared with this arrangement. Be sure the business is not going to bind you in a yearly commitment. You do not know what your situation will be in one year or how good the new company might be. Try to find a solution that will let you change whenever you want to.
Compare third party credit card processing services at the 3rd Party Processors website.

Can Stay At Home Moms Succeed In Internet Marketing
Can Stay At Home Moms Succeed In Internet Marketing
Download Free Copy Of WAHM Guide
While Internet marketing can produce a very nice income it is not as easy to do as some would want us to believe. We have all heard that said a hundred time. Every website that says you can make thousands a month also includes a disclaimer. The truth about Internet marketing is very few actually succeed. That leaves the question, can stay at home moms succeed in Internet marketing. The simple answer is yes but the long answer is, with a lot of work.
The dream of owning a home based business working on the Internet is one that a lot of people have. There are many reasons why people would rather work from home instead of a regular 9-5 job. Job satisfaction, lack of time for their family, financial restraints all push people to look for a better way to make a living. For most life is not easy and it is a constant struggle. Most families today have to rely on two or three incomes to simply get by and most live paycheck to paycheck. The thought of saving a few dollars for a rainy days doesn't even exist. Holidays, vacations and even routine family fun times take a back seat to the homes finances.
The Internet seems to provide the answer to the daily struggles. Millions of people go online everyday searching for information, shopping and buying everyday items. At one time the Internet was a foreign place and few dared to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. The fear of having information stolen was the biggest hinderence to shopping online. Those times have changed and today millions of people buy thousands of products everyday without giving it much thought. We have become comfortable with buying and selling online. With this comes the knowledge that there are those who are getting wealthy selling goods online. It is the thought and idea that we can do it to and that we can live our dreams and the Internet is the answer.
Because of this many stay at home moms and others look to the web wanting to get a piece of the action and make their living with an online business. Why not, every where we look we see advertisements for companies promising to make us thousands a month. Many state they have a passive income system that with very little work will make you money month after month. The reality is nothing will make you money if you are not willing to work for it.
Working hard is just a small part of the Internet income equation. The fact is if you want to succeed online you will have to be determined to do so. Nothing will be given to you and the online competition is very stiff. That doesn't mean it is impossible. It simply means you have to have a dream and you have to have set goals and you have to be determined that you will reach them. Your mindset and determination is what separates those who make it big and those who do not.
There is so much to do and so many things that have to be learned that no one can make it on a dream alone. You must be determined to learn everything you possible can by studying how others have done it and waht it took for the so called online gurus to get where they are today. Along with determination you must have perseverance. the daily task of sorting through countless numbers of emails and pushing through the struggles of learning how to market on the Internet are not easy for most. With determination and perseverance those things will get easier each day.
Getting the needed knowledge for some is a struggle in itself. Not many people are willing to put off an activity to sit home reading through an online ecourse trying to learn HTML or how to use an auto responder correctly. Others can not write and have a fear of putting their thoughts on paper. But these are things that must be accomplished along with many others if you want to build a strong successful online business. The knowledge is there waiting but you have to take the time to consume all the information.
The secret to building a home based Internet business is determination and perseverance. While most will try to make it with little work falling for much of the hype that they read it is those who go a step further to actually learn the business and to discover how to do it correctly that will succeed. It is possible but it is not fast and it definitely is not easy. Stay at home moms as well as anyone else can succeed in Internet marketing if you set your mind to it and never give up.

Do You Have An Internet Marketing Aptitude
Do You Have An Internet Marketing Aptitude

Do you have the aptitude for Internet marketing? In my opinion some people will never ever understand how to utilize the Internet to make money because it is beyond them.
Now having said that everyone is smart enough to outsource many of the functions of an Internet marketing business. If you cannot figure out how to market a business on the Internet hire someone to do it!
If you don't know how to build a website then pay somebody. I can immediately hear people say "I don't have any money to do that"!
Then in reality you should probably go out and get a part time job and then reinvest that money back into outsourcing things for your business. Certainly everyone reading this article right now can go get a part-time job at a Wal-Mart or somewhere.
If you were to work 25 hours a week on a part-time basis at six dollars an hour you would have over $600 a month to invest back into your Internet business. Even if you don't know what business you want to be in you could start an affiliate marketing business and have everything provided for you.
You wouldn't need to create any banners, most of the marketing and support materials would be given to you, the product is already developed, and you could just send traffic directly to your affiliate website.
In my opinion you are better off to hire someone to create a review page, and a landing page to build a mailing list, and hire a writer to write a series of autoresponder messages. Then pay somebody to market your business.
If you are making $600 a month on a part-time basis that is more than enough money to kick start any Internet business online today. Eventually you will make enough money on the Internet to quit your part-time job.
I think many people get hung up on all the day-to-day activities of building an Internet business and never ever get anything done. Again it's an aptitude thing in my opinion.
If you were to give me a hammer, a saw, a box of nails, 2x4"s, and drywall, and told me to go finish my basement it would never happen. No matter how many e-books I read on finishing a basement it still wouldn't qualify me to do it. I could watch Bob Vila videos all day long and never become good at finishing my basement either.
But I could go out and get a part-time job and save my money, and then hire someone to finish my basement. I would end up with a very nice looking basement.
That is something that you should consider when it comes to your Internet marketing business. You might be better off to pay people to do things for you and you will get better results in the long run.

Internet Usage in China
Internet Usage in China
Download Free Copy Of Web 2.0-The Latest Internet Wave
With internet access and usage in China growing at unprecedented rates, there are so many opportunities for internet marketers to make some serious money from this market.
China has become the number one user of the internet in the whole world - with 253 million internet users. The number of users has increased by a whopping 56% in the year to June 2008, with 43 million of these users coming online in just the December to June period.
But what is truly mind-boggling is that these numbers reflect a very low penetration rate of 19.1% - meaning that only this percentage of the country can access the world wide web. Imagine the numbers if China could reach the 71% penetration of Korea or the 68% of Japan. In order to do the math you need to realize that the current population of China is estimated at 1.325 BILLION people.
Realistically though, in a country as vast as China, it may be a very long time, if at all, before the whole population will have internet access, but certainly the major centers are well serviced.
Who is online?
Females account for just over 46% of users. The age group for internet users is young, in fact over 68% of Chinese internet users are under 30 years of age. Around 39% of these have education to high school only, a reflection of the educational makeup of the Chinese population. 30% of internet users are students and a little over 25% are business employees.
Online habits
The most common objectives of Chinese internet users are internet music, news, messaging and video, followed by search engines and email. Online games are accessed and played by 58.3% of users, while 25% purchase online. Contrary to a popular western perception, over 23% of Chinese 'netizens' use online banking and over 18% access the internet for learning purposes.
The last figure is especially significant for marketers of information products - this 18% equates to around 47 million Chinese people on a self-improvement quest! And this segment is growing.
Online gaming presents another opportunity for selling 'how to' products to this market.
E-commerce
Online shopping is beginning to blossom in China, and statistics from China Internet Network Information Center show that as at June 2008 over 63 million people in China shop online. This figure reflected an increase of almost 17 million in the preceding 6 months alone. The major concentrations of online shoppers are, not surprisingly, the big cities of Shanghai and Beijing.
This growth in online shopping has been put down to more reliable, functional, and secure payment and fulfillment systems.
Opportunities abound.
No internet marketer can afford to be without the solid and detailed information that the research-based Chinese eWhispers provides. No fluff, no hype - just the facts.

Many people are looking for a few easy ways to build an Internet marketing business without spending much money to do it. You may be one of them who does not feel you have a lot of money to spend on advertising.
In this article I want to give you three guaranteed ways that you can build your Internet marketing business successfully and not invest a lot of money to do it.
Now I will admit that this is going to take time on your part. That is one thing about the Internet! What you lack in money you can make up for by investing time.
1. Posting in discussion forums is an excellent way to brand yourself as an expert in your particular niche and also build your business at the same time. Internet marketers who do well with forum marketing are people who like to socialize with other Internet marketers.
That is really what discussion forums are. They are a form of social media just like videos, blogging, RSS feeds, and so on. By offering answers to questions, and helping people solve their problems, you will get traffic to your website.
You do this by creating a profile people find interesting, and by including a signature file on every post that you make. Your signature file is basically a classified ad you make about yourself, your products, and of course a link to your website.
2. You see a lot of Internet marketers doing article marketing and there is a reason for that. This is one form of free advertising that can help you build your Internet business.
The benefits of article marketing are many. You can increase your page rank, create search engine bait, drive traffic to your website, brand yourself as an expert on a specific topic, build your mailing list, and make more sales all from one article.
The key thing to making article marketing work is to write a targeted article that solves a person's problem. At the bottom of your article you provide a simple resource box that directs a person what to do next.
You might be building your list by directing them to a landing page, or giving away a free report on your website.
3. If you do not have a blog you should go ahead and start one. Today search engines love blogs and so do people doing the searches.
You must write targeted blog articles on a consistent basis so you can increase your traffic as well as rankings in the search engines. The key is to target relevant keywords in your blog articles.
Then be sure and bookmark them to the top social directories which can drive more traffic to your site as well a serve as search engine bait.
In summary this is three guaranteed ways to become a more successful Internet marketer. If you are not doing any of these now I would suggest starting with one and mastering it before moving on to the next.
