Many sites would not wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits. While there are some who takes things lightly there are always those who would rather see profit any given day.

It is common knowledge that without traffic we have no business. Like any business, without any customers you do not get sales. Traffic represents all the people that gets a chance to see what you have to offer. The more people who see your products the more people there would be to buy them.

Nobody puts up an E-commerce site that does not expect profit. We have a startup capital that needs to be regained. With a consistent traffic, we at least have a fighting chance to achieve that probability. Monetizing your traffic would optimize your chances of making the best out of it.

Making Money out of your Traffic

The best and most proven method of making a profit out of your traffic is using advertising. The internet generates hundreds of thousands upon hundred of thousands of traffic everyday. Most of them are searching for something. While some are just looking for information there is also a good percentage that is looking for something that they need.

The internet has proven to be a very reliable source in finding what was deemed to be a very unsearchable product. The internet has made the world a smaller place; you can advertise a product from the depths of Istanbul and still find a buyer from the center of Philadelphia.

Generating traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a great number of sites to generate a good number of traffic flow. But if done successfully this could open up a Pandoras Box of possibilities. One of the benefits is monetizing your traffic flow.

When you have good traffic you have a good number of potential customers, customers that are willing to pour money into your coffers. Other than that these are also traffic that can be redirected to sponsored links that are willing to pay you for a sizeable portion of the traffic that you have generated.

This scheme is called pay-per-click. With every click a visitor of your site makes on an advertised link you will be paid. The more traffic you generate and the more clicks that happens would spell to more profits.

Affiliate Programs

Another method of monetizing your traffic are affiliate programs. You can link up with other tried and tested sites and online companies and monetize your traffic by having a percentage of sales generated by traffic coming from your site.

The basic idea is, traffic generated from your site will go to another site that can offer a product that you do not carry. Many programs can keep track and make records of transactions that was made possible because of site linkage.

When purchases are made by customers that was led by your site to their site you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate programs would give you the benefit of monetizing your traffic without the actual need of carrying or promoting a certain product.

There are so many ways and methods to monetize your traffic. All it takes is a bit of hard work and the desire to successfully launch a profit-earning site. The internet is a veritable source of information, many tips and guides are offered everywhere in how to monetize your traffic and make your site a good profit earner.

How to Increase Your Page Views and Generate Targted Traffic for Your Site

How to Increase Your Page Views and Generate Targted Traffic for Your Site
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic!
If you have built a business website, it will only be successful if you can get targeted website traffic to visit it and stay on it long enough to get your message and act on it.

The level of success a website is likely to enjoy is usually related to the number of page views it gets each day. Page views are generated by unique visitors who surf onto your site to check it out or find the answer to a question or information about how to do something. If a unique visitor looks at three of your pages then your stat counter will add 1 to the Unique Visitors tally and 3 to the Page Views tally.

The more time a visitor spends on your site the more likely it is that they will get your message and take action. Enticing visitors to click through the pages of your website is a good way to keep them on your site.

You can increase page views in four easy steps:

1. Fill your site with relevant, unique, well written content

People are hungry for good quality relevant information and that is one of their key motives for surfing the Internet. It has been said many times before that content is king, but the fact is that content really is king when it comes to the Internet. If your site delivers the information they need, they will be more than willing to check it out and to bookmark it, return to it and possibly even recommend it to others. Your content will also get picked up by the search engines, so people will keep on visiting it and your page views will dramatically increase.

2. Keep your copy short and simple

Some people find it difficult to string a single sentence together; others never know when to stop! When it comes to website copy, remember the good old acronym, K. I. S. S. - keep it short and simple!

Serve up the information in concise and easy-to-read chunks. Keep your paragraphs short. People have short attention spans on the Internet. Don't expect them to read a several thousand word article. On the Internet people tend to scan articles for the information they need. They will only read an article from start to finish if the style and content are so good that they can't help but read everything.

3. Use proper highlighting and formatting.

The style and appearance is very important. If your website looks dull, with great chunks of hard-to-digest text, people will surf out as quickly as they surfed in.

You can increase the time they spend on your site by highlighting all the keywords and keyphrases. Don't be afraid of white space, either. Generally speaking, highlighted text that is laid out with plenty of white space around it is attractive to the eye and helps the visitor to scan the page, which will be appreciated.

Break up longer articles into pages that deal with different sections of your theme and invite the visitor to "view more" or "go to next page" by posting a link at the bottom of each section.

4. Put article teasers and a site map on your main page.

Another way to increase page views is to place excerpts or teasers from your other pages on your homepage. Link each teaser to the respective webpage to encourage click-throughs.

It is also an excellent idea to provide a site map to make it easier for people as well as search engine spiders to navigate your site.

These are the four easy steps you need to implement to increase page views and get targeted website traffic to stay on your site long enough to get your message.

Why Search Engines Are Easy Traffic For Your Internet Business

Why Search Engines Are Easy Traffic For Your Internet Business
Download Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic!
Did you know that over half of all people who come online every day use a search to find what they're looking for? Keeping this in mind it is important that you use search engines to build your Internet business.

This really is not as hard as some people would have you believe and let's take a look at how you can get easy traffic from search.

1. If you are doing any type of marketing on the Internet you need to have your own personal website or blog. Using a company provided replicated website is not going to get you search traffic. Therefore be prepared to start a website or blog and developed it by hosting it yourself.

2. The design of your website or blog should be very easy for engines to get around in. You should always keep in mind that any webpage that you build should be done around a keyword phrase that identifies what that page is.

3. Blogging is a great way to get search traffic because you can title each blog post around a specific keyword phrase. You can also include that keyword phrase in the introduction and closing paragraph of your blog article. This makes it very easy for search engines to understand what your page is about and ranking high for that specific word.

4. Another important step to take when you blog is to bookmark your blog post. The Search will spider social directories more often than they will spider you, so you need to be creating a back link from the social directory to your blog where a search engine can find you.

5. As you create web pages you want to target a specific keyword phrase in the meta tags, in the headline, bold and underlying it in the body of the page, and then put it at the bottom of the page as well.

6. Consistently add fresh content to your website or blog and you will find search engines stop by and spider you more often. This gives you the opportunity to be ranked on page 1 of that engine which creates website traffic for your Internet business.

If you will do these six things you will be miles ahead of your competition who will not put in the effort to do it. This effort will be rewarded by engines who are looking for content to provide for their searchers and become an easy way to get traffic for your Internet business.

Internet Marketing Guide To Generate Targeted Traffic

Internet Marketing Guide To Generate Targeted Traffic
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Driving targeted traffic to a website is where a lot of people seem to have difficulty. Generating traffic does take daily consistent effort but it is not difficult, you just need to have time, perseverance and patience. Whilst there are several reliable methods this guide looks at 5 free internet marketing methods that you can use to drive traffic to your website.

When you start off marketing your website your goal is to build back-links to your website. The more back-links pointing to your site will mean higher search engine rankings which will result in free organic traffic. Your ultimate goal of course is for your site to appear high up on the first page of Google. At the top of the list of free traffic generating methods is article marketing.

1. Article Marketing

Writing articles and publishing them on the Internet is known as Article Marketing. Don't panic - you do not have to be an author! You can add unique content to your website or blog using your articles as well as submit them for publishing on article directories. In order to gain back-links, at the end of your article you will include a resource or author's bio box where you can say a few words about yourself and post your website address as a link.

One of the best ways to get targeted traffic to your website is by submitting articles to article directories. By writing about topics related to the products or services that you are marketing on your website people who are interested in finding out more will be able to visit your website via the link in the resource box of your article.

As the majority of article directories are free to submit to, you can write and publish your articles without spending any money at all. Here are a few of the best article directories on the internet that you can submit your articles to: Buzzle, Ezine Articles, ArticlesBase, Article City, Idea Marketers, GoArticles, Article Alley.

2. Set Up Your Own Blog

A free, easy and very effective marketing strategy is starting your own blog. Blogger provides you with the opportunity to set up a free blog in 3 easy steps. Once you have set up your blog be sure to link it to your website. Google owns Blogger so you can be sure that the Google bot will regularly crawl the postings on your blog if you post regularly. Try and post every day if possible and vary the length of your blog posts. It is a good idea that once you add an article to your website or an article directory to write a little about it on your blog and link your post to it.

3. Participate In Online Forums

It is highly recommended that you join a few online forums that are related to your business. Then get involved on a daily basis in the discussions with helpful contributions. Most forums allow you to put links in your signature line and so you will be able to promote your website. A carefully worded signature that is not too loud or large can generate targeted traffic to your website.

4. Promote With Traffic Exchanges

Go ahead and sign up for a free account with a few traffic exchange websites. Traffic exchanges allow you to submit a link to your website and will be able to earn credits by browsing other members' sites on the exchange. You can surf freely for credits or you can buy them and this is a quick and popular method of generating traffic to your site. The more credits you earn, the more often your website will be viewed by other members on the traffic exchange. It is advisable to use a splash page on a traffic exchange rather than your website.

5. Linking

The Internet is actually made up of a huge network of links. In order to get some of the action you will need to get as many good quality links pointing back to your site as possible. You can contact website owners whose websites are related to your category and ask for a mutual link from their site to yours, or find out how much they would charge for a small classified ad on their website. Submit your website to the online directories too to gain further back-links.

You will learn how to drive traffic to your website with other, more complex methods too, as your skills develop but for now the above internet marketing methods are proven ways of generating targeted traffic and building up your Internet business.

Getting Free Traffic to Your Domain

Getting Free Traffic to Your Domain
Copyright © 2008 Paul Smithson
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
You've just launched your brand new web site using your favorite web building tool, and published it to the Internet. The next thing you want is traffic - and preferably lots of it.

You've thought about using pay per click ads to get the ball rolling, but having to pay for traffic means your bank account takes a hit and your profits are decreased every time a visitor clicks through to your domain. How about if you could attract people to your site by using traffic generating techniques that don't cost a bean!

Free traffic is sometimes viewed as being less effective because you don't have the ability to fine-tune it like you can with an AdWords ad, honing in on specific keywords and phrases that are only shown to an audience that would care, but it is an avenue you should seriously consider, whether it is for your primary method of generating traffic or in addition to various other methods.

While the free traffic options may not let you pick and choose the keywords in the same way as Adwords would, you can still create content built around specific keywords and phrases so that the pages automatically get indexed for your specific target audience.

Take a Squidoo lens, for example. Squidoo allows you to have multiple free accounts (so that your expertise isn't diluted) and an unlimited number of free lenses (pages) per account. Take advantage of this opportunity and point every lens toward your own website and you have a frenzy of feeders that funnel visitors from Squidoo to your domain through text links and banner ads!

Article marketing allows you to do the same thing. Write an article based on keywords and phrases you want your website to be found for and then submit it to the various high-ranking article directories for inclusion.

A press release can achieve similar results. While many online press release sites charge a nominal fee for inclusion, some have free options - and they create RSS feeds so that interested publishers can find the content that is relevant to their niche.

Forum posting can also act as a conduit between your target audience and your domain. Join the forums for your topic and include a link to your website in your signature file. Don't give your web site blatant plugs in any posts you make as this is usually frowned upon (unless it is relevant to a particular thread on the messageboard), but the inclusion of your web site url in your signature (i.e. The bit that appears at the bottom of each of your posts) is usually fine.

A spin-off benefit of the forums is that as you participate in group discussions not only will your traffic will steadily increase, but your reputation as an authority figure to your target audience will be given a massive boost too. Don't forget to add a link to your web site into your forum profile, too! Profiles are the perfect tool to help channel people to your domain.

The above are just a handful of ways that you can generate a stream of free traffic to your web site. Unlike paid for advertising, the response will not usually be immediate, but over time, and with sufficient effort, you will generate a constant flow of traffic to your site and it won't cost you a single cent.

Building Your Web Site Traffic - Link Building And RSS Feeds

Building Your Web Site Traffic - Link Building And RSS Feeds
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Just about anyone can create a website pretty easily these days with a few mouse clicks, but buildings your web site traffic is a lot more difficult. Don't worry if you need to increase traffic to your web site because I can show you how to do it. If this sounds interesting to you, then read on for the details.

One of the best ways to building your web site traffic is through link building. Link building occurs when you have other websites that link to yours. In return, you link to their web site. Search engines will rank your page higher in the listings if you are linked to sites that are similar to yours. For example, if your site is about computers then you should be linked into other sites about computers and technology. If your site is linked to topics totally different such as child-care or cooking sites, then your page ranking will suffer because the links are not pertinent to the topic.

Create top 10 lists on your site. People like to link to lists because the lists are easy to read and informative. In addition, lists just look pretty neat and you have a better chance of getting people to link to your site by providing funny or topical lists that pertain to your web site content.

Another way to increase web traffic to your site is to submit your content to RSS feeds. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a generic format that is used to publish content from blogs, web sites and news sources that are frequently updated. Readers subscribe to RSS feeds so that they can get website updates directly to their desktops. As a content provider, you would submit your web site to RSS directories. The RSS directories will list your site as a feed available to users who wish to subscribe. This will increase the amount of links that you will get as well as turn up your site in search engines.

Many people find that using forums is a great way to build traffic to your site. However, this requires a lot of work on your part. You must find a forum that has similar content to what is on your site that also has a high page rank in search engines. Then you need to join the forum and start making posts. Each of your posts should have a link to your website. However, moderators are quick to delete any posts that are blatant spamming for your site. To prevent your posts from getting deleted, you will need to create thoughtful and informative posts.

You must contribute something to the forum that you are on so that you will be considered part if that community. Those who are simply there to promote their own site will quickly be found out. Active users of the forum will not have their posts removed, so it pays to be helpful and informative. You may get quite a bit of traffic from the forum postings, but you will also have to post a lot to make a name for yourself. All of these are great ways to build traffic to your web site.

Lance Thorington's articles have been published on numerous places online including web sites, ezines, blogs and email lists. http://www.flipdotcom.com is a web site that gives you numerous web site traffic tips to increase the number of visitors to your online business quickly.

Secrets to Increase Your Website Traffic with RSS Feeds

Secrets to Increase Your Website Traffic with RSS Feeds
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic!
Follow along and learn the simple secrets to increase website traffic with a few clicks of your mouse. RSS stands for "really simple syndication" and it serves as a tool to keep visitors updated to a websites changes without the person having to go back to the website.

Generating Your RSS Feed

If you have a wordpress blog (the most common blogging platform) then you already have an RSS feed built in to your blog. You can find your feed at yourdomain.com/feed

If you have another type of blog check the user guide of your blogging platform to find out where your RSS feed is located or how to generate one.

Unfortunately most internet marketers don't know the first thing about using their RSS feed to increase website traffic. There are some very simple steps that you can take to dynamically increase your traffic absolutely free with your RSS feed.

The first thing that you should consider doing is setting up a Feedburner account so that they can manage your feed. Feedburner is a free service that gives some basic traffic stats, keeps track of how many people have subscribed to your RSS feed and best of all makes it really easy for visitors to subscribe to your feed.

After you have setup Feedburner to manage your feed they will give you a URL for your feed. Take that URL and put it on every page of your blog so that anytime someone clicks on the link they will have the option to subscribe to your feed.

Two More Steps and You're Done

Once your feed is setup and the URL is on every page of your blog the only thing left to do is to submit your feed to some feed directories.

A feed directory is a site that lists several feeds from all over the web on one website. Feed directories can not only bring in tons of new visitors to your website but they also provide good backlinks to your website. Backlinks are needed for any website to rank well in the search engines.

There are two feed directories that stand head and shoulders above the rest in the online world. Often times just submitting links from these two directories can rocket your site to the top of the engines which will obviously help you to increase website traffic.

The first of these two is Feedage. Feedage requires you to setup a free account but once you do you can submit as many feeds to them as you want. It's very simple and only takes a few minutes to setup a free account and submit your feed.

The second directory is Feedagg and they don't even require you to setup an account. You simply click on the "add feed" link and input your information. It's really that easy.

That's all there is to making the most of your RSS feeds to bring in extra free website traffic to your website. Follow the simple steps laid out and watch your traffic numbers steadily increase.

How to get Visitors to Stay a Little Longer at Your Website

How to get Visitors to Stay a Little Longer at Your Website
Download Free Copy Of 14 Point Web Copy Analysis
As you work steadily towards getting your top home-based business on track, one aspect to be considered very carefully is how to persuade visitors to your site to stay a little longer - rather than glance, click and move on!

The first essential point to clarify is who your visitor is and what he/she is looking for. Remember that the internet is all about INFORMATION. Your visitor is looking for information about home business, and has been taken to your site by the search-engine as a result of the key-words that you have carefully selected and placed in your landing page.

There are numerous articles available which discuss key-word strategies, but having done the right thing, you need to persuade your visitor to look a little more closely at the information you provide and which will hopefully give him the answers he is looking for.

Understand that you've been careful enough to get him to your landing page, but how do you encourage him to read on a little further? The next item to consider as part of your strategy is that of the first impression created as your visitor clicks to open your site. You have achieved something very special by getting him this far, so don't waste the opportunity.

Try to have a good look at your landing page - through someone else's eyes. Is it visually appealing and does it look like a professional business site? Whatever happens don't overload the page with gimmicks and a heavy sales pitch. Your visitor hasn't arrived to buy anything! He's looking for information, remember. Ensure that the key information about the business opportunity you offer is clearly and concisely presented.

Long and involved stories from individuals who claim to have moved from poverty to riches in a flash, will not impress. You do need (genuine) testimonials, preferably verifiable, from those who have succeeded, but don't overdo this aspect.

The chances are that your visitor is someone just like you or me, and who is in the same sort of predicament that prompted you to start off on the long road to one of the top home-based businesses available on the 'net. Describe what you did to reach your decision. How did you decide on the particular business opportunity you selected from your search? Give an idea of your search criteria and discuss the steps you took to get where you are, right now.

Some visitors may be impressed by claims of instant riches, but they will be in the minority. Of greater value will be your personal story, even telling about some of your mistakes along the way. A human touch will show your reader that you are a real person, rather than the operator of a slick website aimed at separating your visitor from his cash as quickly as possible, only to leave him high and dry thereafter.

If we have convinced you to re-examine your site, from your visitor's perspective, then this article will have met its purpose. If you are proud of your site, and ready to promote it and stand by it, you're already halfway to success. Good luck!

Traffic Trading

Most marketers baulk at the idea of having to link to another website because they think that all of their visitors are going to go to their site without making the website owner any money. The truth is that 80% of your visitors are going to leave your website anyway without ever making you any money.

So why not link to someone else and have them link to you? This isn't about link building where you trade links with each other on a link page. This is about putting a link to another website right on the frontpage of your website for everyone to see?

Why? Because that other high trafficked website is going to do the same thing. You probably didn't realize that this is the number one technique use by adult website webmasters did you?

All you need to do is find in the same or similar niche as your website and contact them and ask them to do some type of banner exchange. Most webmasters won't bite because they are afraid of losing traffic but if you explain what was mentioned above you will get a bite and you both will see the power of traffic trading.

Social Bookmarking

Most internet marketers don't know the first thing about social bookmarking or how it can really benefit their business but social bookmarking is a gold mine when it comes to generating free website traffic.

The number one benefit of social bookmarking is link building. As a website owner you need to get high powered links from popular websites and that's exactly what social bookmarking can do for you. Simply setup accounts at the popular social bookmarking websites like StumbleUpon, Digg, Propeller and others (do a search on Google for more) and bookmark your websites. Now don't only bookmark your own websites, you also want to be sure to bookmark other high quality websites as well or your account will get shut down for only marking your sites.

The second major benefit of social bookmarking is what is called link baiting. When someone finds a website that has something they really like they bookmark it and if the information is really good then many other people will start to bookmark it which brings more and more visitors to your website and it just starts to have a snowball effect.

These two free traffic generation techniques can be very powerful if you stick with them and don't give up. Free traffic really is that simple.

Want to get your hands on the ultimate how to for free website traffic. It's like free traffic on steroids and it is very powerful. For a limited time the report won't cost you a penny. Get it at => http://www.secretimriches.com/steroid-traffic/

Gradually Climb Your Way to the Top of Google's Search Engine

Gradually Climb Your Way to the Top of Google's Search Engine
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
What are the chances that tomorrow, a 2 week old website would make it to the top of the search engine rankings for one your most competitive keywords? Logically speaking, you more than likely have greater chances of winning the lottery. Now, here is another question: What are the chances that tomorrow, a 2 week old website would make it to the top of the search engine rankings for one of your least competitive keywords? Now that seems to be a more achievable goal.

Let's pretend that you optimized an entire page on your website selling a used 1995 white Ford-150 with low miles. And let's also assume that Google is already spidering, indexing, and ranking your site. Now, if someone types in the keyword phrase: used 1995 white Ford-150, then there would be a fairly high chance that your page would be at the top of the search engine rankings. Why is this? Because with such a specific search, you will have very few people competing for that #1 spot.

Now, let's take our F-150 example a bit further. Let us pretend that 2 weeks ago you created your website for your F-150 used car lot that you own in San Diego, California. Let's also pretend that you plan to expand your business to other areas across the country, so your real goal is to get the #1 spot for the keyword phrase: used F-150. Well, you can get that number #1 spot, and here's how you could eventually do it: First, you will need to create a number of pages and listings for various phrases associated with used F-150s. Before you knew it, you could dominate the #1 spot for search terms such as: used F-150 in California, used F-150s in San Diego, etc. You could also dominate many #1 spots for the specific years and colors of used F-150s that people may be looking for.

Here's what you do second: You create even more pages, articles, blog posts, and whatever content you can create for your website that deals with used F-150s. Before you know it, you may have even forgotten that your target keyword phrase was: used F-150s. You will start to get a whole lot of free website traffic and sales from the more specific keyword phrases.

To get your number 1 spot for your target keyword phrase, you then just need to follow step #3 of the process. This step is to simply continue to create your content and wait. Once you have created and optimized enough content that gives you the number 1 spot for the more specific keywords, Google and other search engines will rank you as the most relevant for the broader keyword phrase, and people will see your website as the ultimate website for used F-150s.

Many webmasters become impatient and try to jump to the top of the search engines overnight. They may even attempt to follow a few of the "black hat" techniques that are out there for getting to the top. These techniques can give you temporary boosts with your search engine rankings, but if you want to stay at the top for years to come, then you'll want to climb to the top slowly like I discuss in this article. Following this 3 step process can get you the #1 spot for many of the highly competitive keywords that will greatly enhance your business.

Cyberdust, ruined, or busted? Web Site Traffic is the Engine Necessary to Make Money Online

Cyberdust, ruined, or busted? Web Site Traffic is the Engine Necessary to Make Money Online
Get Free Copy of Derek Gehl's Six Steps You Need To Follow To Guarantee The Success Of Your Online Business! & Affiliate Marketer's Handbook
Web site traffic is the life blood of any web site and is critical to the success of any online business.

Without it you can't make money online or generate leads. Targeted traffic is simply traffic from sources and locations that are relevant to your site. If you have looked into generating traffic, you have probably seen offers of 100,000 hits for $50 or whatever.

Not too often will such tactics work. You really need to find your niche, develop a product that will interest them, and get into the environments where these prospects will be active online.

Web site traffic is becoming increasingly more expensive to develop. Regardless, it is still critical for a small online business to know where traffic is coming from and understand what people are doing when they visit their web site. Web site traffic is essential to having a thriving online business for the long haul.

Web site traffic x conversion = results (i.e. money)

Web Site Traffic is the life blood that determines whether or not your site makes money or lays dormant collecting dust, ruined, or busted. Without traffic, you have a pretty site you can show off to your mates and fellow entrepreneurs but not one that will put money in your pocket.

What if you do have a good site, a great product, a solid business plan already in place? Where exactly do you go to build consistent traffic to your web site?

BLOGGING

Web site traffic is partially generated by search engines and more web site traffic will be directed to and from blogs if the blog itself ranks highly. Blogs get much attention from Google and many other indexes hungry for new, user generated content.

Blogging has become a part of day-to-day life. People have taken to share their views and opinions and post their comments online. Blogs and RSS feeds go hand in hand. Since more people are into blogs, website owners are finding that this has become a valuable tool in getting website traffic. Regardless of the source, Web site traffic is a necessary condition for success in making money online.

ONLINE FORUMS

Forums are an excellent medium to get increased web site traffic. It's simple to execute traffic building from forum. You simply ask a few questions you need answered, answer a few questions you have the answers for, or make comments about topics you have knowledge about. This is a simple formula as long as you don't "spam" your postings. Keep you marketing speak out of your posts and leverage your signature line for your short marketing pitch.

Find forum owners with a lot of members that are discussing many issues related to your product or service. This is a good bet and effective starting point. You can get a good, broad distribution of your name, product, and knowledge without having the members feel you are spamming.

Forums are really meant to be conversations about certain topics. Inserting advertising into a topic such as issues facing our low carbon economy just doesn't make sense. Keep on topic and you'll be fine.

ORGANIC SEARCH ENGINE RANKING

Search engines are text based and dominated by content. The new computer algorithms are looking for repetition of keywords, relevant content, and combinations of statistical numbers for ranking purposes. There is no reason why writing for search engines should be incompatible with company objectives.

Search engines tend to look for particular Web page content construction when "spidering" and indexing Web sites. The absence of certain attributes, or the over-prevalence of keywords, can seriously impact your ability to achieve Web site listing and your subsequent ranking success. Keep your web site content on topic to your service offering and focused on the needs and wants of your target prospect.

If messaging is focused squarely on your prospect, your organic search rankings will benefit as a result.

ARTICLE MARKETING

Article marketing is a super and cost effective way to broadcast your message and knowledge around a certain particular. The articles typically contain a sample outline about a topic with a specific audience in mind. Case in point is this article itself. The general topic revolves around making money online through the effective use of traffic building tactics.

Often, the article reader will just skim the content in order to find something of interest - Making money online EQUALS lots of traffic PLUS many free sources of traffic like traffic exchanges PLUS effective marketing messages targeting to the needs of your prospects.

Article marketing is a strategy that involves writing articles that are optimized for certain keywords. Articles are often keyword driven with an emphasis towards the marketer's area of knowledge or service offering. The keywords that you optimize your articles for should not have too many competing keywords, pages, and products thus enabling you to get quality position in the search engines.

Content is always the bait for visitors. The better and more useful the content, the more likely prospects will check out your resource box (hint, hint), and decide to jump over to your website. Content that does not help the reader, involve the reader, or help support your web offering is just going to be fluff and of little value.

TRAFFIC EXCHANGES

Free web site traffic is initially labor intensive when it comes to traffic exchanges but the investment of your online marketing efforts will bring you longer term success online. Online business owners who seek increased web site traffic hope that their web site is a favorite in the internet community. Recent surveys have indicated that the internet population now exceeds one billion people and web site marketers who crave a significant piece of that lofty figure are always searching for more visitors.

Online customers look for more than a name and number when they need goods or services. Use traffic exchanges as a method to provide free Internet advertising to show prospects your business information and services. Build up your reputation and your trust level with the surfing members and you won't have any trouble generating traffic to your site.

Cash flow is king for any business. I had a real problem. No money coming AND a lot of money going out was draining my bank account. My business was dead. This amazing, free report showed me how to make money online...FAST. Read it. Follow it. It works -- http://www.domainexperience.com/

5 Surefire Ways To Generate Website Traffic

5 Surefire Ways To Generate Website Traffic
Download Free Copy Of Six Steps To Six Figures
The whole purpose of building a website is to get it noticed on the World Wide Web. However, without targeted traffic, your website will wither away and die. Traffic is the lifeline of a successful website business. In this short article, I am going to give you just 5 of the many possible ways in which to generate targeted traffic.

1. Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the very best ways for driving targeted traffic to your website. Write an article between 300-500 words and submit it to some of the many article directories on the internet. Be sure to include a resource box at the end of your article with a back link to your site. Make absolutely sure you follow the rules of the article directories you are submitting to. Once your article is approved you can enjoy the traffic it brings for a long time to come.

If you have written an informative article with high quality content, it may be picked up and used by bloggers, ezine publishers and owners of newsletters. Just one article a day submitted to the directories could result in 30 articles sending you traffic on a daily basis.

2. Submitting Blog Posts to Social Bookmarking Sites

There are hundreds of Social Bookmarking sites on the internet today. Sign up for several and submit your blog posts. Be sure to submit your post in the right category. Somebody that is interested in Internet Marketing wouldn't look in the Pets category!

3. Write Testimonials

If you have bought an online product and are happy with it, why not submit a testimonial? The site owner would be very happy to display your testimonial on their site to show other interested customers how great their product is. The beauty of doing this strategy is putting a link to your website on their website. If their website is popular it can generate a lot of traffic for you.

4. Forum Marketing

Forums are a great way for driving targeted traffic to your website. Find a forum that is highly targeted to your website and become involved with the community. You must also create a signature. With your signature, you should provide a link back to your website. Give the reader some value and provide a call to action to induce them to click on your link.

The biggest benefit of all with forum marketing is the fact that the community is a very tight knit group of people who are interested in the same subject, making them extremely targeted prospects.

5. Commenting

If, like me, you may have signed up for many newsletters. Upon reading the newsletter, and if you find it interesting, then why not comment on it? As most of the comments are moderated, it is in your best interest to say something useful and not just a one-liner such as: "Great Newsletter". This doesn't give value to the newsletter or to yourself, so think about creating an informative comment. You will provide a back link to your website. If the newsletter provider has a huge mailing list, then your comment and link will be in front of thousands.

These are just 5 of the very many ways in which you can easily generate huge amounts of traffic to your website for little effort and, best of all, for no cost.

Happy traffic hunting.

Boost Your Website Traffic with a Directory Service

Boost Your Website Traffic with a Directory Service
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Are you looking to increase traffic to your website? Does your online business need more exposure than it's currently getting? To jump start your business and see your number of online visitors skyrocket, try using an online website directory service.

An online website directory service is a website that features every type of business imaginable. From dog food to florists, all of the business websites are neatly categorized into headings and subheadings.

The category system of organization helps the online website directory to be as user friendly as possible. It offers up a wealth of information in a manner that is easy to understand.

It is important for web surfers to find the information they desire quickly and easily. Website directories are constructed to make a visitor's experience convenient and hassle free. The pleasant experience a potential customer encounters when using a website directory will directly affect their overall impression of your business.

If you are affiliated with a directory that is well-designed and easy to use, it makes your business look professional. If you are listed on a sub-par site that is cluttered and chaotic, it will make your business look unorganized and give a bad impression to your potential clients.

Often, the best online website directory service is one that listens to the needs of its visitors. For instance, if a web surfer sees that a new category is needed for a certain group of businesses, the website should make it easy for them to submit their suggestions.

After all, their ease of use on the website translates into web traffic for their valued advertisers. Make sure the online directory you choose to list your business with cares about the satisfaction of their visitors.

Many online website directory services also allow their users to rank and review the websites they frequent. If you have a particularly good website, listing it on a directory service is a must. It will earn you the positive feedback that your online content deserves.

Another convenient feature that is offered by a good online website directory service is a search tool. Imagine if a potential client was looking for your website through the directory, but couldn't remember the exact name of your business. The client could simply go back to the directory and type in as much of your business' name as could be remembered.

Because there are far fewer competitors listed in an online website directory than in a huge search engine, clients are far more likely to find your website again. In this manner, an online website directory service makes you easier to find online than lots of the competition.

In fact, some directories offer more than a simple, standard search feature. The best directories offer an advanced search option, sometimes called a power search, that allows visitors to search by a person's name, e-mail address or business category. This is very useful if a potential client can remember your e-mail address, but not your business' name or phone number.

Often, you can add your business' website to an online directory service for free. The directory will provide you with a back link to your website at no cost to you, just like registering your domain name for free with the major search engines. So, if there's no charge, listing your website on a directory is a no-brainer.

This article was written by Jay Gaulard on behalf of http://www.experato.com , a popular website directory.

4 Methods That Increase Website Traffic

4 Methods That Increase Website Traffic
by Kurt Schmitt
Download Free Copy Of Web 2.0 The Latest Internet Wave
Methods to increase website traffic are being spun, packaged, wrapped up in e-literature, and sold for a price. Some of these methods work. Unfortunately, a number of them are also known as "black hat" or are borderline black hat and will only work for a short period of time. They'll probably stop working right about the time you buy the ebook, or get around to reading it and implement it. Since I'm sure you're taking a long term approach to your website, you'll want to dedicate your time and effort to creating a less risky, and more lasting traffic strategy.

While the tricks might work for a while, I'd like to talk about some "white hat" methods that result in lasting traffic. They may not be sexy, and they aren't "secrets" or anything mysterious, but they work. In fact, these methods will work to produce free traffic for many months and years to come.

Article marketing -- There are a number of benefits to using article marketing and other than building pages, it's the number one method I use to increase website traffic. If written correctly, your posted articles will often rank high in the engines and you can end up with several top listings. The article directory sites have a lot of trust and authority with Google, and provide an excellent backlink to your site.

The article directories can send you direct traffic. This traffic is normally very targeted delivering visitors who already trust you and are often warm to becoming loyal visitors and customers. Once your article is published, other websites will republish your article with your backlink. Your job is done as soon as you publish, yet the viral effect created by republishing can live on for years. You can continue to get new backlinks without any further effort.

Social bookmarking -- Social bookmarking is an activity that can have great rewards for your site. It's easy to create a number of links back to your sites by social bookmarking a few pages. You can also encourage your visitors to do this for you by placing icons with links to popular social bookmarking sites. In addition, you can increase traffic to your own websites by bookmarking sites that link to yours.

Creating content -- The more pages you have on your site, the more PageRank your site can accumulate. A higher PageRank value for your site will get your site spidered more often, keeping more of your pages in Google's index. It also adds to your site's overall authority. More pages also equates to more value for your visitor, more keywords for the search engines to chew on, and additional internal linking opportunities. All of this results in an increase in website traffic. Building a large content site is not only a proven Web business model with staying power, but also adds real value.

Social media and community sites -- Many people think of Reddit and Digg, but forget about repurposing their content on other social media sites. Instead of trying to play the very difficult game of who's going to Digg me, you should look at user generated content sites that allow you to post a link to your site. Start with the biggest ones first, as they offer great backlinks and the potential for high traffic. These include Hubpages, Squidoo, and Buzzle, as well as a number of up and coming community sites published on the Ning platform and others like Tumblr.

Increasing website traffic with these methods will produce lasting results, as opposed to some of the risky, flash-in-the-pan methods that so many are suggesting these days. Start incorporating one or more of these techniques, and you're sure to see an increase in visitor count.

Track Your Website Visitors To Improve Your Internet Business
Download Free Copy Of 7 Totally Free Ways To Get More Traffic
Tracking your website visitors is done to determine the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. Today on the Internet visitor tracking is becoming more important than ever because of the multiple forms of marketing a business on the internet.

The real question is: Are you tracking your website visitors to improve your Internet business?

I really cannot think of very many reasons why a person would not want to track their online promotions. Even if the bulk of your marketing efforts are done doing free advertising, you are still investing your time and need to know where your traffic is coming from.

If you are doing paid advertising you certainly want to know what promotions are paying off and which ones are not. Without tracking your Internet promotions you may end up loosing a lot of money by using ads which really are not working.

Today there are services which offer a simple set of code that you can place on all of your pages. Just make a Google search for "website tracking" and you will get tons of services which offer great tools to get detailed information about your Internet home business website visitors. Many of them are free site trackers or commercial trackers that also provide a free service.

I personally use StatCounter code in all of my pages. Using StatCounter website visitor tracking service you get lifetime summary on all your site visitors for free. Besides that you can use StatCounter's free service to get detailed information from last 500 visitors at your site. Upgrading the account you can increase that number up to 100 000.

You can set the code up to market your website, inner pages, sub domains, and blog posts. You can create individual landing pages and put the code on it and so on.

The great thing about using StatCounter as an ad tracking mechanism is that you do not have to put StatCounter link to your website, even if you use the free service. Just put the code to the pages which visitors you want to track and you can learn everything about the visitors coming to your Internet business site. You know where they came from, what pages they visited, what keywords they found you with, how long they stayed on your site, and much more.

A website visitor tracking is important because today there are multiple ways to promote an Internet business. You can use StatCounter or some other website tracking system. Just track your visitors. How will you know what is working and what is not if you are not using visitor tracking to improve your Internet home business and move it forward.

Three Easy Steps To Get Major Traffic To Your Blog

Three Easy Steps To Get Major Traffic To Your Blog
Download Free Copy Of Blogging For Cash
Traffic is the essential element to making money online. Major traffic is what you are going to need to be able to make a full time income using the internet. Here are three easy steps you need to take in order to get major traffic to your blog.

The first step to get major traffic to your blog is great content. It is so important that your blog stands out from the other blogs in your niche. Let your visitors know how your blog is different and better and what it has to offer that other blogs don't.

Offering your visitors great content will give them incentive to return and even spread the word about how good your blog is. Great content should include plenty of well written articles designated to help your visitors solve a problem. 'How To' articles are very effective tools for capturing more traffic.

Be sure to point out that you are offering your visitors all this great content for nothing. You could easily charge for this information but you are going to give it to them for FREE. Free monthly bonuses are another great idea for content that will attract more traffic.

That brings me to the next step on how to get major traffic to your blog. Attract attention.

There are many ways to do this. Submit your articles to the article directories leaving a link to your blog in the authors resource box, make valuable contributions in forums with a link to your blog in the signature box, and social bookmark all of your blog posts.

Another effective way to attract attention to your great content on your blog is to email your peers. Let them know that you just wrote something that his/her visitors may find helpful. They may just put a link on their blog to yours or even mail their list. A good way to do this is to already have a link to one of their posts on your blog. That way they may feel more appreciable and want to return the favor.

The third and final step to getting major traffic to your blog is to take massive action. It is imperative that you are adding great content to your blog on a daily basis as well as attracting attention. After a while you will not have to focus too much on attracting attention because your great content will do that for you.

However, I can't stress enough about how important this last step is. Real action will produce real results. Add great content every day and you will soon start to see your traffic stats go up and up. The more great content you add, the more visitors you will see. Traffic equals dollars. Major traffic equals major dollars. Now get to work!
