I want you to be successful in your internet business but unfortunately thousands are not. Many people believe Affiliate Marketing to be as simple as pushing a button and income will come pouring in, I wish! Neither should you expect to find a magic system all waiting for you to plug into. I would much rather see you working with good marketing practises that have stood the test of time and I know will work for you. They have been used over years of hard work and dedication. With these three marketing tips you can be really successful in Affiliate Marketing online. There is however one other thing. It is no good just reading about them, them have to be APPLIED to do any good, sorry, it does involve a little work.

Let me ask you a question. Does the product you are wanting to promote get you excited? Is it a good product ? A product you are proud of promoting? If the answer is yes then why do you try to get away without building a really attractive website for EACH product. This is my number one tip. Build a separate web site for each of the products you are marketing. It must be totally focused on ONE product. At first you are going to have no testimonials. Write to your Affiliate Product owner and ask permission to use their testimonials. If possible they should come with photographs of the satisfied customers.

Highlight your special points with interesting sub-headlines to keep your visitor interested in reading. Make the pages attractive with photographs pertaining to your product, but do not over do it.

My number two tip is find something you can GIVE AWAY. There are thousands of free reports, this is one of them. So long as the report is of interest and related to the product you are selling people will be very happy to have gained something for nothing. I know it is not always recommended but I like to use an auto-responder to capture their name and email address for future mailing. It can take up to seven contacts to make a sale. It is all about building up TRUST.
Keeping in touch by placing useful information in their inbox over a specified period you can continue to give them reasons to buy the product. But be careful, it should not sound like a sales pitch. There are loads of information available on how to write good email follow-ups but perhaps the most important is to be friendly. Focus on making life easier and more enjoyable.

Tip number three. Seek out targeted traffic. What is the point of getting millions of visitors to your site if they are not the slightest bit interested in what you are selling. Generally you do not need millions to make a very good living if they are interested in your product. Go for the millions and they will never return. Write free reports for publication in e-zines and report directories. People who seek to use your article will be interested in the product area you are selling. Just two articles a week 400 - 1200 words in length should generate around 100 targeted visitors a day. Get ten reports going with 100 targeted visitors means 1,000 a day. On average 10 people will buy per day, it soon mounts up and once you get going on writing reports it really is not that difficult, give it a go.
