Get Paid To Socialize On Facebook

Get Paid To Socialize On Facebook
Download Free Copy Of Web 2.0-The Latest Internet Wave
If you are like most people that spend time on the Internet you have discovered the Web 2.0 Revolution. The real attraction to these sites is the fact that it provides the members a sense of community. It seems that new social networking sites are popping up daily. My Space and Facebook have taken the Internet by storm.

Amazingly these communities are free to join, but each does have its own set of terms and conditions. Many casual Internet users enjoy places like Facebook as a way to keep in touch with friends and relatives. Business owners have found that social networking offers an opportunity to share and learn from others.

Facebook has an enormous community and it is said to double in size about every six months. As of February 2008 Facebook claimed a membership of over 75 million users. A nice feature of this community is that there are networks and groups within the membership.

This allows a member to be in contact with other people that have similar interests. Although the majority of users of Facebook fall in the eighteen to thirty-five year age range, you will find members there of all ages. But an important note is that the 18 - 35 year olds are the perfect audience to market to.

So now we can talk about the advantages Facebook provides to business owners. As mentioned earlier, this is a great way to get to know others with like interests, thus providing a place to share and learn from each other. But Facebook has provided much more than that to business owners.

Strangely few people know how to use the many features available to them to the maximum potential. It really is possible to substantially increase your income while having fun on Facebook. But you have to learn about the features and set your profile and settings up appropriately to enjoy these benefits.

Details of how to do this is beyond the scope of this article but a suggestion is thinking carefully and having a plan before you begin setting up your profile. You really need to know what you want to accomplish with your membership.

Your profile allows others to read and see what you are all about. So if you simply tell the viewers that you are a wife and mother you will not necessarily be seen as a business person. And if you say that you are into horseback riding and that you have a range you are likely to be seen as a horse-lover and be contacted by people with similar interests.

But if your goal is to make money with Facebook you will want to include information that will assist in the endeavor. Facebook provides many features that can be useful to business owners and others. Joining networks and groups will enable you to find other people with similar interests. You can also learn about particular demographics of a group or network. Obviously Facebook can be used to advance the growth of a business and to actually generate money. But there are particular methods that a member should use if he is to receive maximum advantages from this social networking community.

How Much Money Do Affiliates Earn?

How Much Money Do Affiliates Earn?
Download Free Copy Of Affiliate Marketer's Handbook
I think it is safe to say that affiliates earn a lot of money on the Internet today. It takes talent to be an affiliate marketer and of course there are different levels of success. Let's take a look at a few ways that affiliates earn money and how much they really do make.

You may be familiar with the term super affiliate. These are generally the top affiliates in any program and are some of the top income earners on the Internet today. As a matter of fact it is not unusual for a super affiliate to earn over $1 million a year.

Even an average affiliate can earn a full time income on the Internet today. We know that there are affiliates that earn anywhere from a few dollars to several thousand dollars a month as an affiliate marketer.

The bottom line is there are several things that can affect how much money you earn as an affiliate. Here are a few of them.

1. The product that you choose to sell can affect your income. By representing quality products that are worth the price they are being charged for makes it much easier for you to sell that product.

2. The way the affiliate sales page is written can effect how much money you earn. You can almost immediately tell the difference between a sales page that was written by a professional copywriter and one that was not.

Good copy writing can influence whether a visitor makes a purchase or whether they will leave. That is certainly one thing you want to look at before you join that affiliate program.

3. The amount of traffic you get to your website on a daily basis will affect the sales you make. Affiliate marketers that earn big checks are ones that have mastered various forms of traffic generation and are now benefiting from it.

4. Where do you send your traffic to? Professional affiliate marketers send their traffic to landing pages where they capture contact information for future follow up.

They also send their traffic to pre sell and review pages where they warm the prospect up before passing them through to their affiliate sales page. This most definitely will affect how much money you earn as an affiliate.

These are a few things to keep in mind that will determine how much money you earn as an affiliate. Whether you have a goal of earning a few extra dollars or becoming a multimillionaire it is possible to do it with affiliate marketing.

Can I Make Money Online With No Investment?

Can I Make Money Online With No Investment?
Download Free Copy Of Start Your Own Online Business
"Can I make money online with no investment?" is a popular question from those looking to start an online business. Well, yes. I have to say that because the minute I say no someone will pop up with a story about Jane who only had one dollar and turned it into one million dollars.

But let's be real. The chances of you starting an online business with NO money and having internet marketing success are about as good as the chances of you making $20,000 in your first month of your online business.

We've all bought at least one "make money online" product. We've seen the testimonials throughout the sales letter with "real" pictures of "real" people who made "$10,324" and "over $20,000 in my first month." But have you EVER experienced such ridiculous immediate results with a make money online product? Unlikely. And similarly, it's unlikely that you will be able to develop a successful internet business if you have no money to invest up front.

Be prepared to at least pull out your credit card a couple of times. Here's why. In fact, here's why you WANT to pull out your credit card a few times.

Let's first look at the most common "free" way to make money online. You choose a product from Clickbank, create your hoplink, and there you have it -- you're officially an affiliate selling a product that you earn commissions from.

But you're not going to sell any of your product unless you PROMOTE your affiliate link. You can use the free traffic exchanges and free classifieds. The most effective way to do it these days is to set up a blog, promote your product on your blog, and drive traffic to your blog through article marketing and web 2.0 tactics. All of this is free.

This process may make you a few dollars. And if you have NO money, and NO way to borrow a little money, go for it. But only do it this way until you've earned enough to change your strategy.
I just said that you may make a few dollars this way. So why was my initial proposition that the "free" method to make money online doesn't work? Because if it works at all, it takes FOREVER. And because, really, it only works in theory.

To make money online with no investment requires a tremendous amount of time. You must update your blog daily with good content. You must write lots of articles. You must submit your articles to lots of different directories. You must constantly update your web 2.0 sites. Each of these activities takes time. All of them take a serious amount of time.

And people who are looking to make money online with no investment generally don't have all day to sit around and work on their online marketing business. More importantly, they don't have the months it takes to start seeing any money from these methods.

People searching for internet marketing success with no money upfront are often working two jobs, still not making ends meet, and can't afford to put what they make back into their online marketing business.

This is a big reason internet marketing gets such a bad rap. Those just beginning their online marketing business are sold a lie. That's why you hear so much skepticism. That's why there are so many people in the forums in their first few months with an internet based business asking "does this really work?" That's why everyone in your life laughs at you when you tell them you are trying to make money online.

And, what bothers me most, that's why so many people quit, thinking "it doesn't work." Because they aren't told that yes, you can make money online with no investment, but it's going to take months to do it.

The good news is, you can make money online -- lots of money -- without spending a lot of money. Next time, I'll share with you the things worth pulling your credit card out for if you're just starting your internet based business.

Home Based Business: How to Generate Quality Leads With 2 Step Marketing

Home Based Business: How to Generate Quality Leads With 2 Step Marketing
Download Free Copy Of The Greatest Marketing Secrets
As a home based business owner you know that marketing is a fundamental to building your business opportunity. However this is where many new business opportunity owners fail, not knowing how to market on the internet.

We have all heard a lot about web 2.0 and social networking. But this is not for everyone. People who don't have much computer skills, which could be a vast majority of the baby boomer generation, will fail at promoting their business in this manner.

So a good solution for the not so skilled home business owner is 2 step direct marketing. The method I will talk about here is with post cards, but there are many other ways to do this and others have used variations to this method with equally good results.

So what do I mean by 2 step marketing? Simply put, 2 step marketing is based on giving something away for free, or low cost, with the hope of getting something back in return. Marketers who charge a small fee believe this shows true investment and creates a higher level prospect.

In my example with post cards the process looks like this:

1. Create or have someone create a compelling post card giving just enough information about the product to get the prospect to take some sort of action. This is to simply invoke curiosity... not to give too much information about your backend product.

2. You can have the prospect call a phone number for additional information; sent them to a website to get more information or have them send away for a package of additional information. The idea here is to get someone to raise their hand and say I'm interested in what you have by providing you with their personal details. These are great business opportunity prospects and an excellent way to build a list.

3. Once you have provided them with the requested information don't stop there. If you haven't heard this before "the money is in the follow-up" so continually follow up. If you don't have an autoresponder, get one, this is the easiest way to follow up. Send them an email as often as necessary to create a relationship and remind them of your backend product. Don't just do hard selling here....

2 step marketing is a time tested marketing method and used by top guru's on the market today. This marketing strategy will produce targeted prospects for your home based business.

These and many more online business building strategies can be found at my blog http://www.BuildingOnlineBusinessSuccess.com .

Some Advice For Those Who Want To Become Affiliates

Some Advice For Those Who Want To Become Affiliates
Download Free Copy Of Affiliate Marketer's Handbook
Today, many of us are growing increasingly tired of the workplace and the daily grind. We are continually overworked and undervalued. Working a traditional job offers very little incentive to produce more. The vast majority of us pare paid a wage with very little movement for increases.

Increasing numbers of us want to work for ourselves but this requires money and a great deal of risk. Starting your own business is a risky venture and it may be years before any significant profit is seen. Most of us can’t wait that long as our financial obligations need to be met immediately.

To bridge this gap, some are turning to the field of affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing allows you to work for yourself. Instead of creating your own business, you working to expand an already existing one. This keeps the risk factor and investment low so you can concentrate on how to make profits.

Many think it sounds easy. Certain aspects of affiliate marketing make it very attractive but it isn’t easy at all. There are steps and loads of advice you should follow before plunging head first into and affiliate marketing scheme.

The first thing you should do before committing to an affiliate marketing scheme is to evaluate your skills and expertise. How motivated are you? How many hours are you willing to put in? What business skills do you already have and what skills do you need? Even though the risk is minimal, you want to make the most of the venture. You will need some business and sales skills. If you have none then you need to learn. There are very few products that sell themselves. If they did the company wouldn’t need you to do it for them. You profit will be based on your performance. If you can’t perform then your venture will struggle.

The next thing you should consider is a product themselves. You should find something that you know something about. That way you sound much more sincere when you are marketing them. However, you also need to look into how salable they are. You may have loads of knowledge about a particular area but if it isn’t something that sells it will be useless. Find out from the company how well these items sell. How much of a return you can reasonably expect. Don’t let them dazzle you with the sky is the limit speech, or one of our salesmen hit the million dollar mark. You need to know what you are likely to achieve.

Finally, you need to have realistic expectations. One of the reasons that many work at home ventures fail is that people want instant results. Running a business of any type takes time and hard work. With affiliate marketing your will get out only what you put in. with patience and hard work it will be lucrative. Learn what is realistic and shoot for that. If you make more then great.

Affiliate marketing is a fantastic way to start in your own business. If you’re self motivated and independent then this fields could be an excellent choice. Before you jump in, research the company. Look up the salability of the products and ask for reasonable projections. Base your goals on these and build from there. With patience and hard work you will make a success of affiliate marketing.

What You Need to Know About Affiliate Marketing

What You Need to Know About Affiliate Marketing
Dowload Free Copy Of Affiliate Marketer's Guide
Well you have finally done it. You have packed in the rubbish job and told your boss exactly what you think. You have taken the plunge and made the decision to begin your own affiliate marketing business. Affiliate marketing can be very lucrative. It provides people with the opportunity to work for themselves with very little risk to them. Those that are sales savvy, good at marketing and are not afraid of a little hard work can often do incredibly well with an affiliate marketing program.

Affiliate marketing sounds easy but you do need to exercise some caution. You want to avoid the affiliate marketing pitfalls that can ruin your business and worse, have you crawling on your hands and knees back to that boss that now knows how you truly feel.

People tend to get excited when they start a new venture. Unfortunately this excitement and eagerness can cause them to miss key things in their agreement. Whenever you sign up for an affiliate marketing program, you will be expected to sign an agreement. The terms and conditions of the agreement for both sides should be outlined. However, if they want to hide something this is where they will put it. It will either be in the small print, so get your magnifying glass out, or they will baffle you with legal language. Either way, you need to read and understand your agreement thoroughly to avoid disappointment and lost earnings.

If you are signing up for a commission based affiliate marketing program then you need to understand how the term revenue is defined. This is one of the biggest pitfalls of the contracts. They may advertise 5-10% commissions but it all fall on how they define revenue. Most affiliate marketing programs will calculate commission on the gross value of the sale. In other words, the amount of money the site will get at the completion of the sale. You may think that this sounds great. However, you need to read this part of the agreement very carfully. The amount of the sale almost always excludes credit card or debit card payment surcharges. They also are likely to exclude payment and delivery charges as well as any gift wrapping or other surcharges. What sounded like a nice commission is soon shrinking before your eyes. Ask these questions specifically before you sign an agreement.

Some affiliate programs are even stricter in their definition of revenue. Your commission may be based on the profit margin of the sold product. For example, if you help sell a book for 20 dollars but the company only makes 10 dollars profit, you’ll receive a percentage of 10 dollars not 20. This can make a substantial difference in your earnings. Again, make sure you understand these things and ask specifically what your commission will be based upon. Read your agreement and look out for odd sounding clauses. These could come back to haunt you later.

Something else to beware of when you work on commission is returns. Many affiliate marketing companies only pay commission out on completed sales and then only if the customer keeps the item. If they return the items your commission could be cancelled. To really rub salt in the wounds, you could be billed for the outstanding commission if you do not have sufficient commission credit built up. Make sure you understand this before signing on. You cannot expect a company to pay you a commission on an item that is returned but make sure you understand their return policy. Find out your rights in this situation.

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to earn money. If you have good sales and marketing skills then it can give you the opportunity to out them to good use. You’ll be able to work for yourself and not someone who undervalues and does not appreciate them. One needs to consider affiliate marketing carefully. Make sure you understand your agreement and exactly what you will be paid for. You don’t want to have to go crawling back to your boss begging for your old job back.

Start a Business With Little or No Money- Part 1

Start a Business With Little or No Money- Part 1
Download Free Copy Of Start Your Own Online Business
In recent years, the amount of layoffs have nearly doubled. In previous times, as long as your job performance was satisfactory, then you did not have much to worry about. Unfortunately, due to the changing economic times, outsourcing work to foreign countries, and technology replacing human jobs, this is no longer true. A business will fire their employees with little or no remorse if it means that they will save money. They are simply not aware, or simply do not care what kind of a hardship it places on the worker and their family.

The only sure way to never be fired or laid off is to be boss. The only way to be the boss is to start your own business. “But I do not have very much money, if any at all.” you say. Well in today’s culture there are quite a few businesses that can be started for little or no money at all. This is not a get rich quick scheme, I am not saying that you will be making five grand a month from the very beginning, but I am telling you, that no matter the amount of money that you have, you should still be able to start a business without much fuss.

So what is the catch? Well the only thing that I would even consider a “catch” would be the fact that you will need the skills necessary to complete whatever task is asked of you during business. This basically means do not start up a dog grooming business if you do not know how to groom dogs. The key is finding something that you were interested in previously to starting the business.

What businesses can be started with little or no money? Here are a few examples:

House and Office Cleaning Business

This business requires little or no money to start, the only thing you will need is the skills to clean (which everyone should have), and the cleaning supplies to do it with. The first job that you have you can use the cleaning supplies that you already have, and then buy more with the money you receive when finishing. In the event that you do not have the cleaning supplies on hand, then you should not have to spend more then about 20 dollars.

Once you have the supplies necessary, advertising a cleaning business is a simple. The majority of house and office cleaners simply place an ad in the local paper detailing the area in which they would like to work, and the majority offer free bids. Potential clients will call, and you will take a trip to their house. You will analyze it and give them a bid.

Laundry Business

This one is great because you can take a skill that you should already have, and then put it to good use to the people that do not have the skill, time, or the energy to do it. Offering a pick up and delivery laundry service just means that you pick one someone’s clothes, wash and dry them, fold them, and then return the clothes to their house. The only thing you will need is the soap to wash the clothes in (and some laundry companies even make the client provide their own laundry detergent due to allergies and personal preferences).

This business especially tailors to bachelor men, so you will want to advertise in places that would attract this type of person attention.

Alteration Service

If you have basic sewing skills, then you may want to consider starting an alteration service. Alteration could mean hemming pants, changing seams, or dying clothes.

The only you may need out of pocket is to buy various colors of thread, needles, and possibly a sewing machine if you are planning on taking on larger jobs.

Since you main focus will be clothing, you will want to advertise at local clothing shops or department stores. You may also want to consider talking with businesses that supply uniforms to employees. The business can then recommend that the employee to you if an alteration in their uniform is needed.

Affiliate Marketers Are Raking In Huge Profits

Affiliate Marketers Are Raking In Huge Profits
Download Free Copy Affiliate Marketer's Handbook
There are many new entrepreneurs looking for the right business opportunity where they can make huge profits. Many of them are finding this niche in affiliate marketing. The trick with affiliate marketing is finding the right product to sell and a product that everyone wants.

Well you don't have to look far with affiliate marketing. Becoming an affiliate marketer takes all the guess work out of selling a product. The products are proven in the industry and there are other marketers that have a track record of sales.

So how can you make huge profits with affiliate marketing?

First let's define affiliate marketing; it's an internet marketing practice which businesses pay affiliates for their efforts in bringing customers to their website to generate sales. The website and sales letters have already been created for you along with all the testing for profitability, so all the hard work has been completed.

Compensation is different for each program. Some business opportunities use a revenue sharing model or a defined cost per sale; others might use a cost per click. Mixing and matching these is a good rule of thumb. One program can be a lead in for a hire priced product on the backend. Either way, as the affiliate it is your job to get the prospect to the website.

As the merchant you have very little expense until the sale is made, the affiliate is doing all the advertising. This is a great model for them. As the affiliate you can make as much money as you desire depending on the amount of effort you put forth.

Most affiliate marketers do not sell just one product, they will sell multiple products. And they don't have to be in the same niche either. You can sign up for as many affiliate products as you like.

Now the secret to making real money in affiliate marketing is creating your own website or blog on that affiliate program. As people search the web for information or for a particular product they will land on your site. If they like what you have to say they will click through to your affiliate link.

I like to create a blog. They are free and easy and there are many pre made themes, you are sure to find one to fit your niche. Add some content about the product and your own information on the subject. Create a link to the affiliate website and you're done. You will never have to touch that site again.

Marketers using this strategy can get a site up and running in less than an hour. So if you have hundreds of these out on the web you can see how you can start pulling in huge profits.

Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick business opportunity; it takes time to build your empire. But with a little hard work and very little expense you can see how this can develop into huge profits.

These and many more online business building strategies can be found at my blog http://www.buildingonlinebusinesssuccess.com/ .
